We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights over the Christmas holidays. And btw the room is reasonably clean and we got a good price for it since it was Christmas weekend. I mean the Lodge has beautiful lounge area, warm welcoming atmosphere from the front receptionist. I gave 3 stars because I wasn’t happy with the service I received from the restaurant staff. I wasn’t hungry…but my family members were(7 of us total) and so I ordered some OJ and plain Croissant. The server gave me a cold croissant and so I asked him to cut in half and toast so that it’s warm and put some butter…instead he put 2 packets of butter on my table and took off with my croissant. 1 minute later he brought me a nuked croissant! Yes, NUKED as in he put it in the microwave for a minute! Who put croissant in a microwave? Obviously he does! Needless to say my croissant tasted like rubber! Couldn’t even cut it that’s how rubbery it was! I snobbly told him what he did to the croissant I paid for and he didn’t even try to rectify my issue. Hence why I’m writing this review! I tried telling my ole man to not pay for the croissant but I was too late…his sister already paid and gave tips too! I’m not going back there!

I think the food is definitely value for money and the burrito was delicious! Also the precautions they have taken for the pandemic should be appreciated.

I dont know who made the pancakes i just ate but they brought me to another realm. Godly would be unestimating how amazing these pancakes were. I got an uber eats thinking it looked nice and not really expecting much else and omg. When i say i wanted to cry opening that box and seeing the sheer amount of love that went into drenching my pancakes in nutella... Someone in that kitchen looked at portion control and laughed. Went to the White Moose for breakfast yesterday, friendly staff and a nice outdoor seating area (with heaters) made for a good eating environment. We had eggs on toast (+avo for me, +ham for herself), and shared a stack of silver dollar pancakes (highly recommend!). The menu had a wide array of vegetarian options and the coffee was of a good standard. All items on the menu were reasonably priced.

Great grub, friendly staff in really nice setting. We had the poached eggs with salmon and poached eggs with mushrooms, gorgeous and really tasty. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Our small dog Meggie was welcomed and fitted under our table.

The cafe has outdoor dining at the moment, they have QR code menus which I love, it saves on paper menus and with Covid you don't end up touching a menu that someone else has been handling. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I would definitely eat here again.

Long time follower of this place. Finally made the trip from Tipp to visit. We were giggle the minute we got here. Nuggets of Paul's humour everywhere. Food was fab and staff were unreal friendly. Best part and only good part of my stay in Dublin was hotel. Me and my partner came for our first anniversary. We booked a standard double on arrival we were giving as receptionist said honeymoon suite, wow absolutely stunning room all staff were lovely and friendly and service was always with a smile. Bustling on a Saturday morning but thankfully had a table free. Staff were really welcoming and friendly, started out straight away with coffee and ordered a full Irish breakfast and Silver Dollar pankcakes with syrup. All the food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked great and ours was no different. Pancakes so fluffy and fry not too greasy. Service was really efficient and staff attentive while not crowding anyone. Would gladly return again, menu has a great selection for breakfast alone.

Today was my first time eating "in" somewhere since the start of December. The staff were so friendly and really chatty. We were seated really quickly in the outside area at the front of the property. Lots of social distancing. Really comfortable and relaxed. Food was gorgeous. My son ordered the pancakes, they were massive! I ordered the breakfast burrito which was also really tasty. Menu looks really nice and varied and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend paying a visit. All the Insta-marketing the team do is not just a front, there's quality food, service and value behind it.

Amazing food with an amazing staff. Bottom line, if you're polite to them they'll be polite to you. I've visited Dublin, Ireland many times in my life as my mother is from there but living in America we find it difficult to visit, but when we do visit Ireland we make sure we make the most of our trip. I followed Paul, Jason and the rest of the staff on the White Moose Cafe snapchat and I was dying to go there on my visit over the summer. The time came and I was greeted with nothing but respect and high quality food (I'm still craving the White Moose Sambo and it's been 6+ months). This is one of my new favorite places in Dublin and I can't wait to go back again to see the boys. Thank you Paul and Jason for your immense kindness.

Great quirky cafe for breakfast (Funny paintings and quotes) I got the full Irish and my girlfriend got the mini breakfast. She changed some things on the breakfast and this was no hassle at all. I also upgraded my breakfast for the American after I was finished (as I didn’t think I would be able for it) and this was also no bother, which was great coz we got two pancakes to share afterwards which were amazing, as we heard about them from friends. Would definitely recommend this place to others

As always food was amazing. It was my first time sitting in with my son as he is a bit hyper at times so we normally do take away but today he wanted to try stay in. He was so happy and content the staff member klara engaged with him so well and even big up the hot chocolate which he adored the look on his face was priceless my avocado and eggs were just the best. The flavouring was fab you just don't taste the hollandaise there is a hidden something else with it that i couldn't quite get but defo amazing. My sons pancakes and bacon looked amazing he said his favourite bit was the crispy rashers. He walked out asking are we doing this every week. Defo will be bringing him back. Thank you xX

Staff were very friendly, outside seating area was lovely on a nice day. But the 50 minute wait between sitting down and the food coming on the table was a bit excessive. It was very busy there at the time which is understandable. The Brownie pancakes were only ok looked better than they tasted. The fry was a fry nothing to write home about. Wouldn't stop me from going back but if you are going you would need to leave yourself plenty of time.

Best breakfast in Dublin! Once a year my twin and me go to Dublin for our birthday and skip the hotel breakfast to city centre and head to the white moose for food! Staff are so cool ! Absolutely great place to stay and service is impeccable. I do however believe their opinion of charging a blogger who is trying to make a living while offering the hotel publicity was poorly handled and an immature response from such an establishment. Asking for free stay in return for good publicity is very normal and blogging and creating content is a time consuming lifestyle and job. A much simpler polite denial of request rather than a public humiliation would have served better. Undoubtedly a great place to stay but the social content manager or person who responds so is quite a childish and embarrassing response.

They have pancakes in which you can order multiple multiple ways. I ate so much delicious food, I didn’t know on my way back to my room if I was going to vomit or sh!te myself. Luckily I made it safely back to my accommodation but went back repeatedly during my stay in Dublin to repeat the above for brekky and lunch. This place is a definite must visit. Come hungry. Had the full Irish for 11 quid. Absolute winner. Honestly the nicest full Irish I've ever had. She got the pancakes with mixed fruit and white chocolate sauce... Unbelievable! Definitely going back!!

Chair was comfortable. Plate was perfect diameter. Sometimes they are too big or small at other restaurants. Spoon was quite charming to look at. Was expecting 5-pronged fork. Recived four pronged fork. Found free tickets to Barbados underneath table. 10/10. Would recommend.

Paul is quite the host, highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality place to stay. I should point out that this is not a charity however and that you will need to pay to stay there, some people seemed to have the impression that a small following on the internet would earn them a free all inclusive stay.

Perfect breakfast after waking up at Charleville Lodge. The eggs Benedict was perfect-and enjoyed it while listening to wannabe and gangsta’s paradise. I arrived with a pounding headache and bereft of pants. A lovely young man, Paul I think his name was? I can only recall because it was sewn into the back of his pants - which he gave me - as they have a strict pants wearing policy. Anyway Paul gave me his pants, braving the icy cold and then told me to reach inside the pockets. Sure enough, ibuprofen! Genius! Now half naked and shivering, Paul led me to a table where I started to open my mouth to order but he said "hush my son, I know you want the triple decker club." Right he was at that. I devoured my sandwich and attempted to return Paul's pants (corduroy or 'cloth of king' very appropriate) but he wouldn't have a bar of it. I would need them he told me. What a fantastic experience!

Gorgeous place with fantastic no-nonsense service. I really enjoyed the £14.99 "Blogger Special" where you're expected to pay for the meal you receive and then when you throw a hissy fit about the tab they escort you out to the local asylum.

If you're the kind of persom who appreciates people standing in the cold and rain to tell you its "their pleasure" at Chick fil A then this probably isnt the place for you. If you can chill the hell out while jamming to the Hansons and Spice Girls in good humor before hitting up Dublin then go on in and have a great breakfast. The cafe's owner a pure legend it be known, upon his reply I saw on my phone. A jaunty chap, lest be no lie. I'd kiss him till the day I die.
