Great place to chill, nice food, impeccable service, beautiful waitresses, the coffee should be with a stronger taste though but it's a problem in Ireland. Will visit again for sure. Prices are cheaper than the average around the area.

Lovely little spot. Really lovely staff. Didn’t want to risk chowder which can vary depending on where you go but they have me a little sample which was really nice of them. It was delicious As were the cod and chips. Highly recommend here for lunch.

We (6 motorcyclists on trip to Strangford) stopped here for coffee and scones at 1100h on Sunday morning. The service was very friendly and prompt and we enjoyed tasty coffee with the freshest apple and cinnamon scone ever! Delicious and good value too, thank you!

I loved the location, interior and food. We went there for breakfast and the selection was very impressive! We got halloumi and shrooms and full Irish, both super yummy. There was also very tempting avocado options, wafers, pancakes and of course full Irish in vegetarian options. Staff was polite and friendly, toilets clean. I had only one advice and complaint and it's about the coffee. I'm lactose intolerant and even though this place offers the no diary milk I felt very sick after the coffee, probably because the milk jug was not clean after the normal milk. I didn't drink anything else that day. But that's an easy fix. I highly recommend this place with lovely view, nice people and delicious food.

Fantastic little place on Main Street in Blackrock village County Louth. Looking out onto the sea, it serves really great food, and the staff are wonderful. I only pop in every now and again, but it never fails to live up to the high standards it sets each time. It's the small things like how a simple cup of tea and a scone is presented. The cooked food is fantastic, and the desserts are fab. If anything, the only drawback is the seating capacity, as it is a small place, but this actually lends itself to the atmosphere of the place. Definitely worth a visit when in Blackrock.

Whenever my dad is visiting from Co Clare, himself, my sister and I pop in to Cafe Acqua at least once during his trip! It is a quaint and cozy little seaside cafe that has no shortage of visitors. The staff are always so lovely and the food is delicious. It is honestly a gem of a place. Really good food, coffees, and these amazing homemade scones that come in several flavours like pear and almond or apple and cinnamon. Great place to come if you're vegetarian and many things on the menu can be altered to make vegan. The place is grand and comfortable as well and it's nice to sit by the window and look at the sea while sipping away on your tea or coffee. Can't recommend Cafe Acqua enough 😊
