We stopped in Meades Cafe on a lovely Sunday morning recently. We thought it would be quiet as we were early at about 9.30 am but the place was already busy. Lots of bikes passing through the Square and families of tourists that appeared to be staying nearby. Really nice staff, very helpful and when food arrived it was delicious. Unfortunately it took a very long time to arrive. I had a Meades Special which was great - it came with lunch-type salads, which was unusual for a breakfast plate. Also ordered was Granola, Yogurt and Fruit. Came eventually with no yogurt and no explanation. When I asked, they were out of yogurt. The Meades Special was good value but I though the Granola dish was expensive for what was received. Coffee was delicious.

Great cafe with ample seating and big windows. I had the soup and sandwich combo and it was great. Soup was thick and delicious and the caprese panini was everything it should be. All rounded up with a nice pot of tea and a good view over the square. Perfect place to sit and take in Dungarvan.

Situated in the square in the town centre offering both indoor and outdoor dining. Location is perfect as you can watch the town square and happenings. Good coffee, an excellent range of food including breakfast, lunch and snacks. Can recommend salads as well as the full Irish breakfast. Staff are friendly and polite. Nice ambience. Worth a visit.
