This place should be on everyone who visits western Ireland's itinerary. We came here on a recommendation from the house owner that we were staying in. The service was of the highest quality. They were able to recommend 2 great meals off of what we like. They gave us travel tips on where to visit which paid off in the end. The food was probably the best we had in Ireland. Highly recommended.

Feels as though you've found a slice of the European mainland in Ennis! A beautiful shop but also a fabulous bar and restaurant. Great food, even better wine and knowledgeable, friendly and professional service. We went 2 nights in a row as it really hit the spot. I would highly recommend Ennis Gourmet Store and look forward to going back again.

Not sure about the negative reviews below. We found this to be a quiet little place, with a few tables inside and a few more outside, serving food a few notches above Ennis’s class at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful. Two baguette sandwiches, a soup, and water ran us about 20 euros for lunch, which we found entirely reasonable. We agreed we’d come back without a doubt.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was fantastic and the coffee devine. I felt like a child in a sweet shop with all the wonderful ingredients on the shelves. Yes it is small but the welcome we received was massive. Ann is so nice and made us feel so at home. Thank you! Something often missing in much larger restaurants. You can tell this place is loved by its owners. Thank you for a wonderful lunch. And we will definitely be back! If youre in ennis, please do yourself a favour and go inside. You won't be disappointed.

Unexpectedly high quality French café grub - I mean that in the sense that it's a bit unassuming from the outside, not immediately clear if it's an ingredients store or artisan food shop. But then the food is superb
