Such great service! The cottage was very clean and had a little gift shop as well. The owner was there with a staff member and they were both so kind and efficient.

I have passed this place many times, but today was my first time going in. Was greater with a big smile and an hello! Very clean fresh looking shop, large selection of cakes and the coffee is great! Definitely worth the stop.
A. S.
They say the best coffee in Ireland and I wholeheartedly agree. Their fudge is also gorgeous. And amazing views. Perfect place to stop.
L. K.
Lovely coffee with a lovely view. O’Leary of parking and some nice treats, too. My only issue is the highly overpriced merchandise. But you’re not there to buy cookbooks…
A. P.
A family road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way today, stopping off for a lovely treat at Moher Cottage is always a must.
The coffee is always great and today our kids enjoyed the Oreo Hot Chocolate! What a treat, the best in the the west!
Moher Cottage is definitely the perfect coffee stop for your road trip along the Wild Atlantic way!

Fabulous coffee and fudge. Lovely friendly staff. Nice views and seating area out the back on a nice day.

Coffee is really good here. Small coffee shop with a tourist shop. They have a covered outdoor eating area.
We visited on a Thursday when there was a great food truck on site and a mini market where Sally Ann was selling her locally made hand bags. The product for sale was high quality and really looked fantastic.
Recommended stop if you're going to the Cliffs of Moher

This may be a lil' cottage but where it sits offers the most expansive view. Inside is an emporium of treasures. There's great space out the back outdoors so ideal for covid-19 era and I'm told the chocolate caramel slice is like nothing experienced in Dublin (acc. To my daughter who devoured it with relish! Great coffee too and omg the fudge!
B. O.
Very nice place. Good coffee but just powdered hot chocolate, yuck!
No brownies but fair selection of cakes..
A. D.
Great coffee with a lovely view. Also a nice selection of cakes and Aran fudge 😋 a must visit, when you are finished roaming around the Cliffs of Moher and looking for a pit stop.
S. B.
Great place to stop off for a light snack and coffee right around the corner from the Cliffs of Moher. This place has excellent customer service as well as excellent coffee, voted best coffee in Ireland 2017. The Americano is the classic must try if you are in the area.
P. T.
Lovely gift shop with an amazing view and nice coffee. Worth visiting.
M. R. C.
Fantastic. Staff lovely, great coffee, beautiful gifts and an amzing view. A must,if you're cycling, walking or driving by.

I adore Moher Cottage. I found this beautiful spot in Summer 2017 and have been a regular visitor since then. I don’t know where to start: the warm welcome from Caitriona, Rosemarie and Marie; the gorgeous coffee and treats (best fudge ever); and the exquisite range of gifts. I go to Clare quite often and Moher Cottage is a must stop on each trip. Oh yes, did I mention the view? One of my favourites in Co. Clare.
S. D.
Gorgeous cafe and gift store in an old traditional Irish house. The coffee is the best i had in the west of Ireland. Family run, friendly, and very helpful. Lovely terrace to relax and enjoy the sea views. Plus, a stones throw away from the cliffs of moher.
K. S.
Terrific coffee, great service, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Although the signs can seem a bit like a tourist trap, this is an absolute must stop. The coffee and home baked treats are delicious. Service is fast while simultaneously being friendly and they have a great back patio to look for the beautiful rolling hills. Would definitely come back if in the area!
G. F.
As a local person, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many beautiful Irish made products that I would love to purchase. The décor is very inviting, the views are spectacular and the coffee is very good. I'll be back with my gal pals from some Burren fudge and lovely herbal teas.
E. f.
Lovely spot. Great staff. Freshly baked goods. Nice view and shop. Only 2nd best coffee on Ireland we reckon though LOL.
M. B.
Best cuppa coffee in Ireland, and the hospitality is just as good. Great place to take a break from the road and enjoy a great view.
S. S.
Lovely coffee and pastries, visited on a beautiful sunny day, sat outside and the view was stunning. Lots of space for parking and plenty of seating 👌
J. M.
Attempted to visit the cliffs of Moher today. That was a wash out but this quaint little spot was a lovely distraction from the rain the wind the mist and fog .... In other words our lovely Irish weather. The green tea was delicious the capuchino very tasty according to the other half the team working were so friendly. Thanks for a bright spot on our travels 😊

Y. N.
Living locally, I consider myself very lucky to have such a gorgeous place to go to grab a lovely coffee or shop for thoughfully selected choice of gifts to suit everyone's style and pocket- young and old. I am always greeted with a warm welcome and genuine interest in how Caitriona and her team can be of help. Moher Cottage is a pure gem and a must to stop by on your travels in North Clare. Enjoy.
S. M.

Gorgeous lemon and poppy cake, friendly staff and fantastic coffee! What else would you need on a rainy Monday!
P. B.
Called in to see if they really have the best coffee in Ireland and it's definitely tough to beat. The gift shop is very nice and although we didn't try the fudge it looked very inviting. Another guaranteed coffee stop when I'm in Clare. Brought my coffee to get some different views of Clare.
M. D.
Gorgeous selection of coffees and treats, all overlooking a beautiful view of the coastline below.
S. L.
This was the cutest little shop. The wares were wonderful and I wish I could’ve bought it all! The coffee was amazing and well. I would highly recommend stopping by this adorable little shop after a long hike at The Cliffs of Moher.
m. b.
New place for coffee and pastries on the way to Cliffs of Moher. Plenty of parking and outside seating, some under cover. Great views back over Liscannor bay.
B. L.
Great coffee and fudge as well as lots of other nice things to eat and a well laid out shop. Friendly staff.
M. C.
Wow wow wow. I cannot rate this place high enough. Everything about it is INCREDIBLE. First off, beautiful location, gorgeous establishment and great parking, and as for the view?? Breathtaking. The staff are as sweet as the life changing fudge there! They are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The coffee menu isn't filled with every single thing in the world, but what they do, they do flawlessly. The fudge deserves it's legendary status. It's scarily good! You can really tell that there is sincere dedication, love, belief and work put into every single facet of this place. I would travel down here again for a visit, I can just imagine how incredibly beautiful it would be to sit outside with a wonderful coffee, enjoying the delicious fudge in the summer... Do yourself a favour and go if you have the chance. Trust me you will love it.
c.
It was a very nice view, the workers were all kind and it's an over all very amazing place. I gave it a 4 because it did have different things on the adds then there was in shop which kinda annoyed me and I also gave it a 4 because there's always room for improvement.
B. F.
Great coffee and cakes, lovely gift shop , wonderful views and a large seating area with approx 40% of the tables covered . Highly recommended.
D. G.
Lovely coffee, lovely view and cafe but slightly over priced.
N. R.

F. B.
Lovely craft shop, excellent coffee and fudge 👍
J. H.
Voted Ireland's best coffee and it really was very very good coffee. The staff seemed very friendly and their range of fudges would definitely deserve another visit so I can try them all... The salted caramel one was great!
S. C.
The gift shop is so cute offering unique gifts. The homemade fudge was incredible. For a place to claim that they have 'the best coffee in Ireland' I was left disappointed as they didn't get my order right & it was too busy during covid (which is great for them) to re-enter the cafe to rectify this.
J. G.
Great coffee, ice cream, fudge, gifts. And to sit out with an amazing view.
P. F.
Just after having a fabulous coffee with a scone, jam and cream in Moher Cottage. Lovely setting with very friendly staff. Well done.

B. K.
Great coffee. Great view. Lovely people.
N. S.
They say it was voted best coffee in Ireland, I'd be interested to know who the voters were (perhaps the staff). Unfortunately the coffee was pretty poor. However the caramel shortcake was delicious. Views OK too. 3 stars are because of the caramel shortcake, it would be 1 for the coffee.
T. o.
Great place to stop for a snack with toilets and seating and a lovely view with very friendly staff
P. Ó. h.
Fudge here is handmade and salty caramel is delicious, the coffee is ok. Nice quiet stop.

C. K.
Lovely little cafe close to cliffs of moher. They have a nice balcony looking at some green fields. There is also a little shop with local products. They serve nice coffee and pastries. Very cozy place with a bright white interior. The staff is very friendly and makes the perfect stop for a hot cup of coffee away from the touristic cafe at cliffs of moher.
B. O.

I love everything about this charming little shop & cafe. The coffee, tea, fudge, lemon drizzle cake are all divine & that beautiful view over Liscannor Bay I could sit here all day! They stock a lovely selection of art & gifts in the shop too. It is so nice to find somewhere a little bit different and away from the madding crowd. If you're passing definitely call in, you may not want to leave.
M. F.

Nice little cafe, if I remember correctly it was a pig pen originally. They won the award for best coffee in Ireland, and I liked their coffee. It conveniently sits on the side of the main road, allowing for a quick break.
T. M.
Great wee place. We stopped on a very rainy morning in Co Clare. Ladies were really friendly, chat good, scones brilliant and coffee superb. Great stock of craft, soaps, smelly stuff cookery books etc, would highly recommend a stop here.
J. W.
Dropped in on Saturday afternoon. Sipped delicious coffee while taking in the breathtaking view. Service was warm and friendly and there was a lovely array of gifts to browse in the shop. Set us up nicely for our jaunt to the cliffs, only a stone's throw away. Strongly recommend Moher Cottage!
V. S.

A Must See at the Cliffs of Moher:
Cloudy. Rainy. Windy. Thus describes my trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Thinking all hope was lost, I stopped into the Moher Cottage for a coffee, and my entire day turned bright. It’s run by a wonderful woman who made me feel like the most important person. I loved my experience here as much as my entire stay in Ireland
C. O.
