The friendliest Staff ever. I had a chorizo cheese press with soup, coffee, and a bliss ball. All of it delicious!

Perfect pet-friendly place : ) Super nice and friendly staff. Feels like home, like visiting a relative. We had a delicious cheese toast with chorizo and a remarkable organic coffee. Highly recommended.

We are always on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee and word on the street was it was in County Clare somewhere. So West Cork Weekends loaded up the wagon and went on the hunt. We decided to tie in some sight seeing as well and on the way to the Cliffs of Mohr we made a random coffee stop in the town of Ennistymon or Ennistimon. Much more than a cute, quaint little town along the way it was full of abundant offerings. Galleries, books shops, waterfalls walking paths along the river and plenty of architectural delightful buildings that seemed to hug the streets. Ennistymon also sits at a crossroads for the road to Galway, a top up spot for the next leg of a journey. So after parking in a nearby church we thought we should stretch the legs and have a look about. A lovely river flows through the town and has walking paths on both sides, dog friendly, family friendly and plain old friendly friendly. The next stop was the funky, bohemian cafe The Cheese Press. One of those shops every town should have, you could spend half your day just hanging out looking at the smart art for sale and on the walls, catching up on whats happening around town (Flyers aplenty), a child friendly hang out area and just a great shop throwing off cool vibes. Yes there was cheese and we were here for the coffee. it did not disappoint and there was some nice banter with the staff and owner as well, everybody in there seemed to be in good form. Definitely worth checking out, seeking out if your in the area. Take the trip!

I would do anything to replicate a shop like this near where I live. Everything here is right up our family's alley, from the delicious sourdough bread (the signage of which is what pulled me in), to the two types of delicious chorizo, scrumptious cheeses, homemade hummus and sun dried tomatoes, coffee, and other multiple other natural products and packaging. Unfortunately the owner was traveling when we were there so I couldn't meet her to sing her praises but I highly recommend this shop to everyone. During our 5 day visit we went back 4 times!

Really nice coffee. Toasted Cheese so good. And my all time favourite: their Dolmades. I stop for it each time.

I love this cafe/shop and every time I am in North Clare I have to visit. The food, the coffee, the ambience, a relaxed vibe to put you in holiday mode. Its a great addition to the town of Ennistymon and another branch is open in Doolin beside the Dooin Hotel, with all you need to cook a totally organic dinner, or make a feast from the selection of cheeses and salad ingredients. Well done on opening this second branch and lucky you North Clare locals!

I love the coffee and delicious home made bread at this Ennistymon landmark. And friendly chats with other patrons — welcoming!
