First coffee. Unfortunately coffee was flat rather tasteless without character, typical for chain coffee shops like Starbucks or Costa. Big points for staff for being thorough about Covid cert and serving. As I visited the place in the morning my favourite was cinnamon pastry fresh and full of flavour

Nice coffee shop that looks out to the square in Galway. If you havnt tasted cafe Nero before it's a little stronger in taste compared to other coffee shops. It's a cozy and quiet in there for a chill out after shopping

My favourite place for coffee in the city! The staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly at all times. The girls are super welcoming and lovely to have a chat with. A great atmosphere overall with an amazing selection of drinks and snacks :)

I get coffee from Cafe Nero at least three times a week and I have to say the staff here are extremely friendly the atmosphere is welcoming and the smell of their baked goods is amazing as soon as you walk in the door. My girlfriend and I go in all the time and the staff always make sure we are looked after and that our coffee are made exactly how we want them! The service is quick and cheerful everytime were in and it is one of my favourite if not my favourite place to get coffee in the city!

Always order from Cafe Nero Galway, the staff in there are all so lovely. Every time I go in I’m met with a friendly smile and really good coffee. The customer service is next level. Even when ordered on Uber they often leave notes telling me to have a great day. It’s the little things that make the staff in there excellent.

Cozy, warm, delicious and I'm not just talking about the coffee. Perfect atmosphere for a lovely little break from a delightful day. Great selection of fresh coffee and tea, fantastic service, and pleasant array of snacks and sweets. The seats are comfy, especially the chairs upstairs, and whether you're on your own or meeting up with a friend this is the place to go.

The 4 stars are for the space itself rather than the coffee or the service. It's a great place to go if you need WiFi and quiet and a comfy place to sit for a few hours and get some work done which is a tough find in Galway but the coffee can be fairly rough at times and the staff are rarely interested. But it gets the job done and the small chocolates and desserts are very tasty

Standard selection of good coffee offerings and good pastries. There's never a rush, relax and enjoy the space and atmosphere. Staff is friendly. WiFi is available.

Lovely coffee but this practice of only accepting cards as payment is ridiculous, cash has not been made illegal and still is legal tender, not everyone has a debit or credit card and attitude of one particular staff member left a lot to be desired when telling me would not accept my cash, will not be returning

Really good coffee I much prefered this Nero to the one in Dublin! Lovely friendly staff and a very new slick building that is being well mainted ! The only down side is they do tend to run out of seating quickly and the seating is not designed in the best way to maximize the space they have! Outdoor seating is also available with some really nice pastry, coffee, tea and pre made fridge sandwich collections for a quick lunch or long chat !

I don’t drink coffee so my reviewing a Café is a little odd but this is a lovely little café with good décor, friendly staff and what looks like a good selection. I can recommend the hot chocolate. Fantastic little outdoor seating area for during the summer but they seem a little understaffed on a busy day to keep the outdoor area cleaned and tables emptied.

This coffee shop is one of my favorites, either I'll be in Dublin or here in Galway. Their coffee is distinctly & unmistakably brewed in perfection!

I regularly go to Café Nero for my morning cup of coffee as its very central and you can get to just about anywhere in Galway from there, it's located close to the train/bus station and has many town bus stops surrounding it too. Their customer service here is excellent and their loyalty scheme is very useful for people who go there regularly like me, the only problem with this place is there is occasionally a slightly long line for coffee but despite this there is always seating available inside and outside of the store I would advise visiting this place if you like good coffee at fair prices

The staff is friendly. I ordered a frappe latte, but at first I was surprised because it wasn't sweet at all. It's savory, refreshing, and delicious.
