A hidden treasure in the heart of Galway. Rarely does inexpensive meet quality; all of their bite sized sweet treats cost €1!!!!! And just amazing to savour. Can't recommend this place enough.

Ciarlantini feels like a bakery and coffee shop that has been in Woodquay for generations, if not centuries. The pastries are fresh and rich and traditional and convincingly authentic. Old school. But this convincingly old Italian shop in historical Galway might seem enigmatic but for the warm hospitality, the rich pastries and the excellent coffee. If the Woodquay location is not the center of Galway life, Ciarlantini has another location on High Street. I like them both.

It's like walking from Woodquay and straight into a coffee shop anywhere in Italy, along with authentic Italian desserts and pastries. The cannoli are especially delicious.

A genuine Italian shop in Galway. Food and coffee is genuinely Italian and great. The cakes look amazing and I have not seen anything like them any where else in Galway. The service is great and staff are friendly. It's a small place, but that makes it cosy. It's also in a great location close to many other shops and pubs. The theater and river are also close by.

Gorgeous little ltalian cake shop and everything looks divine. Friendly customer service and they put your cake in little brown boxes for you. We bought vanilla slices and coffee and cream Swiss roll cake. Delicious. I'd recommend a stop for coffee/ tea and one of their pastries yum yum.

Delightful Italian coffee shop in Woodquay area of Galway city...a few minutes walk from the centre. Owned and run by an Italian lady called Lolita. Friendly and efficient service. Serves delicious Italian cakes, pastries, cookies and homemade ice cream. Foccacia sandwiches at lunchtime. A firm favorite.

Good coffee, great selection of Italian cookies and cakes. Once I’ve got frozen cake with strawberries, it was amazing.

It's a lovely authentic Italian café but unfortunately one of the draughtiest I've ever been in and the metal seats don't help either! If they put a few cushions on the chairs and invested in some draught excluders it would be much more comfortable and inviting.
