S. G.Amazing food, and extremely friendly staff. I ordered a breakfast toastie on brown bread with an Americano to wash it down. The sandwich was much larger than expected, and will definitely hold me over until dinner. The coffee was perfectly brewed, and was very enjoyable to drink black. I will absolutely be stopping here again before I leave town.

Food was delicious, all cooked fresh and came out really quick. Coffee was lovely too, and it was HUGE. They also have great measures in place to allow for social distancing etc. Would definitely recommend to stop in here if you're around!

S. D.From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. The staff is so friendly and kind. The food and coffee are great. And it's near the train/bus station so if you need a lovely place to stop on your way in or out of the city, I strongly recommend stopping here.
K. L.My sister and I were on vacation in Ireland in mid-August and decided last minute to eat here for breakfast. It was located right on Eyre Square. Our servers name was Colm and he was very attentive to the customers in the store. He was extremely nice and helpful. The moment I was ready to order, or needed a refill or wanted my check, he was there! I ordered the pancakes and a mocha frappe. Both were absolutely amazing! The staff were always smiling, which brightened our morning! The decor was very unique and hip!
L. M.Went here by chance and was so surprised at how nice and accommodating the staff were, we got mint hot chocolate (tastes like an after eight if you're curious) kinder bueno milkshake, esquires pancakes and a breakfast bagel (chutney was great) all of it was absolutely gorgeous.
We had a small issue with the kinder milkshake and brought it up to staff, to our surprise they actually refunded us the drink, it must be overstated how good the service was!
Special mention to the gentleman in pink (who I assume is the owner) for being such a gent

Z.I ordered Eggs Benedict and it came with some potato cubes it usually comes with bacon but i opt it out. it was €9.95 which included a coffee I asked if I can have it iced and they said it was possible however, the coffee was less than half the cup and it was fully filled with ice that I had to ask for another cup to remove the ice and the cup on the right is what's left in it after.

WOW!!! I think it just may be the best breakfast in Galway, if not the whole country!
I had the great pleasure of being served and speaking with the owners. They are as kind and welcoming as you please, the pride in their business is evident in every detail.
I heartily recommend this shop to anyone, and can honestly say that I may never eat breakfast anywhere else in Galway!

A.Great location in Eyre Square in the heart of Galway City on the east side of park. 100% organic trade certified. Opens at 7:30 am which is great for popping in before work and open until 6 pm, Saturday's they open at 8 am.
Wheel chair accessible and they also have high chairs for small children.
Staff are professional and friendly and the Cappacino is to die for. Highly Recommend

Veggie bacon, sausages, hash brown, mushrooms, beans, toast, eggs, etc. Wonderful. The only disadvantage is the lack of veggie salad or sandwiches. But that's a minor complaint. Otherwise, well worth a visit.

As we got to Galway in our Wild Atlantic Way roadtrip we stopped at Esquires Coffee to get some late breakfast. And boy, we got lucky! A very warm welcome from the owner who organized without hesitation a table for our group of five, a menu with traditional but also personal favourites that will satisfy any hungry customer, even if you're just looking for a quick bite. I can only recommend the Full Irish and the milkshakes, or if you're into a giant cup of coffee - this might be just your cup of tea. Some of us loved the smoothies and bagels, so there's another thing you should try!
Thank you so much guys for this great breakfast and whenever we're back in Galway - be assured, we'll head over to Esquires Coffee in no time!
