Used a Christmas giftcard to buy an Americano and a veggie wrap. The staff behind the counter were all in great moods and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. At 4pm it was still too crowded to sit inside but not an issue as plenty of benches along the Salthill Promenade. Great late lunch - I'd give both the veggie wrap and Americano a 9 out of 10. The seasoned wedges with the wrap were a lovely surprise.

Really nice fresh food, great service and super child-friendly. We visited at a busy time and were told it could be up to 15 minute wait for food but it didn’t feel like it. Also lovely coffee (highly recommend white mocha!!) and yummy cakes. Will definitely come back.

Don't go here if you want a quiet cup of coffee because it's so noisy and the service is not great. On a sunny day if you can sit outside its quite nice and the food isn't bad. I think because of where it's located they don't feel they have to try very hard as there will always be passing trade! However there are plenty of cafes in salthill . It's quite expensive but the coffee is good. Lots of mums with their babies and children frequent this cafe.lts usually busy.

Beautiful seaside coffee -restaurant, my wife’s favourite place for a tasty cappuccino. Variety of food from breakfast scrambled eggs to porridge meats etc. Always crowded, plenty of tourists, but the staff are quick and friendly. Located in the Salthill next to the Atlantic Aquarium. Galway is always busy despites the season.

What a cracking spot, right beside the aquarium, on the promenade in Salthill. They have an excellent selection of food with a great kids menu. Top quality coffee served by really friendly staff. It was mad mad mad busy today (Bank Holiday Monday at 1400) but still comfortabke and we were seated within 3 mins. The girl that served us was excellent and made sure the kids were well looked after

I would just like to say a big thank you to Niamh and her crew today at Ground and co. There was 7 of us for breakfast. We had a long journey ahead of us and Niamh came over to our table to personally greet us.. Food was fantastic. My son loved the french toast and his hot chocolate with mashmellows.. i had the Galway Bay breakfast. It was so filling.The home made jam and scones were lovely. I loved the tea, home made brown bread. All food was made fresh to order . We will definitely eat there again the next time we are in salthill..thanks again
