This place has been in business for over 20years I understand and an icon in the city. Menu in French with English translation underneath, nice touch as the decor takes you to an old French cafe. There is a personal touch as the staff are really friendly and helpful. Really impressed by both the sweet and savoury French style crepes - a real treat. N.B they cater for specific diets and have a good number vegetarian options.

What an amazing find! This restaurant has the BEST crepes EVER! So often you can only find sweet crepes. They have those, but also an extensive list of savory crepes. The Lochmira with smoked salmon, creamy leek fondue and lemon butter sauce was divine. The Raclette was also exceptional. The filings are great, but the crepes themselves have excellent flavor and texture that holds up to the stuffing and sauces. DELICIOUS!

Went based on all of the good reviews at the weekend. I was a bit disappointed as the crepes didn't seem like they were made to order (they were cold), and considering I bypassed a stall on the street making them (while you watched) added to the disappointment. The chocolate sauce was out of a bottle and the pears had no flavour. My husband said his 'special' of chicken, spinach and cheese tasted fine and the contents were hot, just not the crepe. I would only give this a second chance if they said they were going to make the crepes as ordered. Looked pretty. Staff friendly enough.

We came into Galway really late with a child and had very little choices, then stumbled into this little place. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. My crepe was a sausage and onion and it totally hit the spot. These are larger thinner style crepes but very delicious.

Here is a niche that should be savored. You may walk in and think it's too small and very busy, but there's an upstairs. That's where to go. Settle in for some delicious crepes and coffee. My preference is the Breakfast Crepe, coffee and some *Fresh* Orange Juice. Staff are wonderful at providing excellent service. The menu is reasonably priced and there is plenty of sweet and savory to choose from. Well worth a visit.

This cafe is my favourite place in Galway, very friendly staff and a marvelous selection of food and drink! Their Nutella and roasted almond crêpe is. To. Die for! This is probably one of my favourite places in Galway, it's so comfortable and chic in here, my boyfriend and I are in here every second day for their delightful range of crepes and coffee's, the staff in here are outstanding and always provide the highest standard of customer service, they have a wide range of savoury and sweet crepes accompanied by a wide selection of exquisite wines and ciders, the often stay open late which is excellent for those who like to roam the streets of Galway at night but crave a treat on their journey, I can not recommend this place enough if you are in Galway this place is a must go

If you are looking for a very cozy cafe with excellent coffee and food, then Java's cafe is your destination. I loved the vibe and my vanilla latte with warm crossiant. The crème brûlée with fresh cream was absolutely delicious.
