t. h.Lovely spot. Ordered a turkey and ham on ciabatta with black pudding stuffing with a sweet potato and broccoli soup. Flipping delicious. The menu looks great in general and the staff were the nicest. Really great cafe to stop off for a nice lunch or tasty bite.

The interior was bright and well lit with a large blackboard on one was and a beautiful colourful print on the back wall.
The service was friendly and efficient.
The coffee, by Java Republic, was delicious.
As mentioned, we were only in for a coffee but there's a wide variety of things to eat at reasonable prices.
The only reason there's not 4 stars is the place felt lacking ambiance.
There was no low level background music and only the sounds of the café.
While it can be nice to have a break from such today wasn't one of those days.
I'm sure there will be a revisit.

k. m.Nice food, was charged for a bite sized portion of coleslaw, no issues with being charged if it was a normal size. Was left waiting on chips. Service quite sloppy, some of the staff seemed uninterested. The gentleman that worked there was very professional and friendly. Think the others missed the customer service training!

She was hangry and we were looking a place for breakfast but it was still early in the morning and a lot of the breakfast place was still close and it was a Sunday. Luckily thos place was open at 9am and we were the first one! The food was alright. She got pancake and I got the veggie breakfast. Really did the job. She was happy and cheerful after the meal ready to start the day. Overall food was alright. Environment and staff was top class. They also served other meals such as burgers, wraps and sandwiches. Serve for lunch as well. All day brunch menu. I am sure the other menus are good as well. Hopefully my wife will not be hangry again for the day. Fingers crossed!
J. C.Wow, this place deserves a five-star rating. The food Was phenomenal and the coffee really was “serious” as they advertise on a sign outside their shop! This was, hands-down, the best place I have found in Galway to get a cup of coffee. Tasty, but not bitter, their cup portions are generous. The sandwiches they serve are not very large, maybe about 6 inches. Without ordering a small additional side, this could leave you wanting a little bit more. However, the taste more than made up for the relatively small size! This was one of the more tasty sandwiches (the club) I have had in a long time.I highly recommend that you go – there is plenty of seating and it is a very comfortable, very open restaurant (no outdoor seating, though).
I.Hands down the best tasting food I have had in Galway this year. Went here on a Monday evening for a late lunch / early dinner. I didn’t know what to expect food wise as I hadn’t heard of anyone else’s experience here before and I thought they’re main focus in this place would be coffee as it is a café. When we arrived it wasn’t very busy, only two other tables and ourselves (It was half an hour until closing time). The staff were genuinely welcoming and let us know the specials. It was a tough decision as everything sounded great, I didn’t realise that this café had such a variety of food. We decided to try the Cajun chicken burger (€10.95) and the special of the day – a steak sandwich (around €12) and I ordered a cappuccino while we were waiting for our food. It was beautiful, tasty coffee and not at all bitter. I find it hard to find good quality coffee lately, even in high street cafes, but this was one of the most delish coffees I have had in Galway recently and they were very generous with the size of the mug as it was huge! Our food arrived quickly enough (It was very quiet and at this stage we were the only people left in the café.) and we were amazed by the size of the portions. The burger & sandwiches were huge, and both came with a side of chips and salad. This was the best tasting food I have had in a while. My boyfriend also said the same thing – we eat out in Galway regularly and he said, “This is the best food I have had in Galway.” Which is true! I don’t think I have ever eaten this amazing quality food in Galway that meets a student’s budget. There was so much flavour to everything! Including the chips! The steak sandwich did not come with pepper sauce (you could probably ask for it) but it was still full of flavour surprisingly and we did not want the meals to end as they were that good. The Cajun chicken burger is definitely a must if you plan on eating here, it was infused with flavour and everything in it went so well together. I don’t normally give 5 stars ratings, but this place deserves so many more and has become our new favourite place to eat in Galway hand down. I left with a great first impression of this café and I will be returning often.

R.Very nice food and coffee, think maybe the kitchen staff have a bit too much on their plates as parts of our brunches were over done and some aspects needed a bit more attention, the floor staff also seem run off their feet which meant that most of the tables were dirty and when they were cleared they weren't cleaned.
