P. L.Fantastic restaurant with outdoor seating area and take away service. The food is absolutely delicious! For takeaway, if you don’t want to wait at the door, you can leave your phone number with them and they will ring you when the food is ready a short while later. I got a wrap with crispy chickpeas, absolutely gorgeous. My friend got a chicken wrap and said it is just as delicious. The tray bake, cinnamon rolls, and cookies are beautiful as well.

C. O. C.Very impressed with The Hungry Bear. Following the government guidelines to perfection. Makes their customers feel comfortable through these strange times. As always food was top notch. Very friendly and attentive staff. My daughter is gluten and lactose intolerant and they thoroughly informed us of what was in the food to make sure she was OK to eat it. My boys ate the succulent burgers (well - the bits I that I didn't steal), I had a fabulously spiced breakfast hash with chorizo, garlic and spinach; whilst my daughter nominally had Buttermilk pancakes.... Though she reckoned they were more like giant luscious lemon curd donuts (about the size of her head) - Really generous portions

I returned here again and got the veg katsu curry. It was really nice but there wasn’t a lot of sauce on it which was disappointing.
The waitress Maebh was really nice and helpful tho!

We found this place as we had a vegan friend visit and we haven't a clue what to cook for him, so we Google vegan food gorey and find this place. Needless to say we haven't looked back. Every item on the menu is insane. My friend keeps asking can he come back down to get food here!!
I also found out you can buy the brown bread yesterday(I've finished the loaf)... It's so delicious and always very fresh.

Being vegan I'm always a bit nervous about new places so I was happy to see a vegan wrap on the menu straight away but I decided to go for the vegetarian chickpea burger minus the mayo, it was delicious, there was lots of it & it came with the yummiest skinny fries I've ever tasted!!!! I finished the meal with a lovely oat milk cappuccino👌. Just one suggestion guys...get some vegan mayo & give us vegans an extra option please 🙏

I will allow the no show of a second slice of bread with the chowder go due to how busy they were .but they need to keep an eye on things like that.

L. C.Finally Gorey has a top notch food spot!! I've been here a few times since they opened a few months back and have to say the food is class!!! Just so fresh and tasty, we'll thought out dishes. The full irish breaky is massive, fresh and not greasy in the slightest. Coffee is 10/10 and they do all kinds of milk subs. If you find yourself in gorey at any stage do not leave without giving this place a goo.
