This place is a hidden gem... Staying nearby in druids Glen on holidays. Fancied a good sambo, couldn't have found a better spot! Sandwich menu is vast and ingredients are fresh! At first coffee didnt look like a speciality type but the taste is perfect! A little more love into each cup would be great! Turkey and brie panini & red chicken pesto wrap tasted great! Highly recommend a visit! Ps Google directions are a little off, park in dunnes car park and it's next door to main entrance to dunnes

An absolute gem of a coffee shop with the best scones (my weakness!!) , cakes & other goodies. Also a great coffee menu with many dairy free alternatives. Big breakfast & lunch menu , all made with lovely fresh ingredients. Always get a lovely welcome from Erika, Zane & Chloe

Found this little gem of a place today. Had an Americano Latte which was the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time. Also had a delicious cherry & almond scone. Quiet, relaxed cafe with very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it and will go back again.

We have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars to the wonderful Coffee Place in the charming village of Newtownmountkennedy in County Wicklow. It is no exaggeration to say that the scones are "to die for". In our many outings for morning coffee over the years, and all over the place, these scones have never been surpassed. And, they are complemented by excellent Americanos, The staff of The Coffee Place are unfailingly welcoming, friendly and are most efficient. It is no wonder, then, that we visit regularly. Cafe hidden behind the trees in a park. Not easy to find but not difficult either. The waitresses are welcoming and patient with orders. However, you should remember to pick up the menu at the counter each time. It's easy to recommend things and the bill is paid quickly. For the food, everything is very good. Their porridge with honey and grapes is delicious. Their Irish breakfast with sausages and pudding too. Afterwards, it must be English/Irish but their hot chocolate is way too sweet (they also add marshmallows). The place is clean and welcoming with a terrace available. The decoration inside is airy with a few children's books lying around (very practical to pass the wait which is okay).
