Got in at short notice so don't like to complain much but the bed wasn't very comfortable and made incredible amount of noise (creaking) every time you moved. Other than that it was central to town centre, the room had WiFi and there was plenty of rooms available. We didn't have breakfast. It was relatively cheap and I would go back but place could do with a makeover.

Just back from an overnight stay I Bregagh house very convenient to all amenities only 5 minute walk to the water gate theatre james and his team a great host spotless facilities breakfast fabulous highly recommended will definitely stay there again Paul and martina ballinaboola new ross co wexford

Top class accomodations in kilkenny city. Brilliant hosts, lovely breakfast and ample parking. A must when staying in kilkenny. By the way they have a lovely garden for a mug of tae and a few ham sandwiches also

I had a great stay in Bregagh house. They took me in last minute on a Friday night and made me feel so welcome. James was waiting for me when I got there to show me to me room and i felt like I was the only guest there all weekend because of the attention they gave me. Breakfast was lovely. Came down and was handed a glass of orange juice and lovely brown bread. Then came the tea, toast and scrambled eggs. Full breakfast offered and lots of cereals and fruit to choose from, you will not go hungry in Bregagh house :) The B&B itself is in a great location, Just a minute from a filling station with shop which is very handy for snacks and the off licence. There are great pubs just minutes walk away and I walked in and out of the city centre both days. The B&B is really quite and staff are very friendly. I had a great stay.

We arrived in Kilkenny and was directed by one of the pub merchants about this place. They were able to get us out of a bind and we liked it so much we stayed another day. They breakfast was great and they had multiple menu options. The location is great for seeing the entire town and you can rest easy and the music from the pubs near buy is hardly heard. Will be back again for sure

We really loved staying at the Bregagh house. We came straight from Dublin and it was incredibly easy to get to with parking off the street. 10 minute walk to the Castle made it very easy to get around and explore the area. The room was nice, clean and quite. Breakfast in the morning was very nice too. We absolutely recommend!

We stayed one night at the Bregagh House. The room was lovely. The owners were ever so helpful with our questions or needs. The breakfast was the best one we have had in 3 weeks and 12 different B&Bs. The coffee was amazingly good! I’d stay here again when in Kilkenny! Cheers.

This place was almost perfect. Owners or Proprietors were very inviting and helpful. The breakfast was made to order in the morning. The price was average at 40 per person. Its location was probably the best possible because it was very close to the main strip but just far enough away that it was quiet at bedtime. It was a 4 minute walk 2 Main Street and a 12 minute walk to the castle.

Absolutely amazing experience! James, Roseanne and John were extremely hospitable and kind. As a pregnant traveler, they helped bring my luggage up and down the stairs and also went the extra mile in many different ways. I would definitely recommend this B&B and would stay there again if/when I visit Kilkenny in the future!

A lovely B&B in Kilkenny. The owners are nice, the food tasty, and the rooms clean and quiet. There is also a wide parking place in case. The terrace is a must on sunny days. Highly recommended.

Wonderful! A most accomodating friendly welcome as we arrived late (without a booking). Waking up to peacefulness & tranquility (with birds singing in the back gardens trees) and all this in the city centrer..wow! And also for the super yummy breakfast too. Well worth staying here. Our room was on the second floor and the lady told us there would be no internet access there. Not sure why the owner did not buy a wifi extender for it since it wasn't that expensive. Now my wife and I had to sit on the first floor outside the house but in the window enclosure area. It was kind of chilly in the evening. And both my wife and I had to wear a jacket to get internet access. I'm very disappointed. 😟

Very nice owner-managed B&B in the middle of Kilkenny! Good value for money. At breakfast you can choose between “Continental” or “Full Irish”. Recommendation if you want to stay 1-2 nights in Kilkenny.

Cozy, clean, parking, very close to the center, good breakfast. It would be useful to provide an online booking system without having to resort to exchanging emails.
