food gorgeous no complaint about food .coffee extremely overpriced small cappuccino 3e in minut cup and only warm . extremely rude young lady on the till did not like being questioned about overcharging before I paid then when she was told by another staff member that yes she had overcharged instead of apologising or even just carrying on and saying thank you when i said thank you she walked away had to come back too finish and give me my recipe... really not good enough service We will not be returning

Kilkenny Cafe has the best food and also have lovely staff who realy make you feel warm and comfortable and always have a smile to greet you with and a lovely chat too. It's a lovely friendly place for family's with young children and great prices too. I love going in even if its just a coffee and always made to feel welcome there. I missed going in when Kilkenny Cafe had to close with the covid19 and was delighted to be able to go back again when they opend up again. Thankyou all Kilkenny Cafe staff for going above and beyond to make all of us customers warm and comfortable and always making the time for even a chat and it makes my day 😍 Sometimes I've been in and just felt a bit low and a chat from any of your staff perks me right up again and I leave with a huge smile on my face and cheerfull again😍 I really recommend Kilkenny Cafe to anyone even visiting Kilkenny for the day. I promise you that you won't be disappointed and will see just why Kilkenny Cafe is Kilkenny heart and favourite place ♥

I had a dinner here and the staff are great, the portions are large, I'd recommend this cafe, I noticed this place doesn't have a restroom, there is some across the shopping centre on the opposite side.

Kilkenny Cafe located right beside penneys in market cross kilkenny is such a lovely clean happy cafe ! The staff are so well mannered and full of smiles ! Vert helpful too! The place is very clean . Very affordable. Food is absolutely delicious its fabulous the deserts and coffee are absolutely delicious!!!! Would highly recommend this cafe . !

Negatives: McDonalds style awful plastic chairs, €3 for an average size cup of coffee (supposed to be a large), scone quite hard, chocolate muffin not particularly full size. Positives: Free house papers to read, very pleasant staff, good range of food & pasteries.

Food was OK. The cafe has, among other things, great looking tarts. Price/performance ratio is just fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, the store is dingy and not very attractive. Tables are rarely cleaned.
