PROS: Mrs. Margaret was extremely friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us get some dinner on our first night and she gave us good pointers for the next day. The whole place was clean and orderly. The breakfast was wonderful and there were plenty of options to choose from. We have been offered tea and coffee on multiple occasions. Really warm and friendly place to stay. CONS: Beds are a bit too narrow, but that depends on what sort of bed you are used to sleeping.

Margaret was a very generous and lovely host. This was the best Bed & Breakfast we stayed at. I would definitely go back. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. She gave us great directions to the places we visited. If your in the Kilkenny area you must stay here. It is centrally located to many sites of interest.

On arrival to the Moonarch B&B we were welcomed with opened arms, shown around and we were made feel really welcome our room had everything you could every ask for, the room we stayed in was lovely decorated fresh bright very clean and plenty of space. Breakfast was amazing and full of little extra surprises you wouldn't even expect, Margret would go out of her way to make sure you are looked after. Staying in the Moonarch was a delight. Home from Home, Thank you Margret for your wonderful host your a Gem.

Has to be the best B&B in Ireland and the best we have ever stayed at. The host is fantastic, providing everything you need and so much more. Rooms are excellent with comfortable beds, fruit, sweets, toiletries, slippers etc. Breakfast is excellent, with so much choice and loads of home baked products both for breakfast and with a cup of in the evening or arrival. The B&B is set in beautiful gardens close to Kilkenny which has so much to offer including the castle. I highly reccommend this B&B.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This has been the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Margaret is so friendly and helpful that you'll fall in love with this place. If you're anywhere nearby and you can choose between this and an Air BNB, choose this. You won't be disappointed. Also, this is a quiet place. This isnt for loud parties out until 3am. This is for the people in bed by 11. If that's you, you'll love this place

Margaret was awesome! She gave us great info about the area and made us feel right at home. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! She puts her whole heart into the bnb and it shows. Definitely recommend if you plan on staying near Kilkenny.

Friendly and homely with comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Take a stroll around the well maintained gardens and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the lounge in the evening. I am celiac and was fully catered for. We would definitely stay again.
