Stopped for a coffee yesterday and can’t praise the place highly enough. The staff were excellent and my cappuccino was one of the best I’ve had. Kelly, the barista always turns out perfect coffees and the latte art is amazing.

Can't recommend Muse highly enough! We visited as a hen party on Sunday and the service was excellent. Sharon was also a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, through email and phone even with some last minute changes. The food and coffee itself was delicious and so much of it to go around, we all brought extra home with us. The brunch menu for hen parties is excellent value and gives you a lovely variety of both sweet and savoury. Will definitely be back next time we're in Kilkenny!

I visited Muse recently with my hubby and 3 small kids. The food was amazing. The eggs benedict was just delicious and the kids were thrilled with their waffles and pancakes. We felt at ease even with the little ones exploring the area. The staff were very attentive with Philip and Grace looking after our every need. We’ll definitely be back soon for another fab brunch. Oh and the glass pods are ideal, kept us all dry and toasty. Well done team Muse

I organised a brunch for a hen party in Muse Coffee + Food last weekend and I don't think we could have picked a better place to go. Sharon, the manager was so accommodating and helpful, even with some last minute changes. I really couldn't flaw one single thing. We were sat in a gazebo which was set up beautifully with flowers and plenty of space. There was a great selection of really tasty food and drinks, and there was plenty of it to go around. The service was also excellent. Thanks so much to all the staff for having us. I'll definitely be back again.

Had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful establishment today as part of my daughters Hen Party. Just Wow ....the food and service was outstanding. The owner Sharon even popped in on her day off to make sure everything was perfect for us. The Hen Party Menu is so delicious and there was so much food !! The staff were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Visited Muse at the weekend with friends for a surprise special occasion and it was just P E R F E C T 😀 we had prebooked a pod and had to reschedule the time earlier in the week, the owner Sharon was so helpful and changed our booking with ease. I have been to Muse a good few times and it’s such a beautiful place in a lovely setting, definitely one of the nicest in Kilkenny. This was my first time in a Pod and what a really great idea they are! Philip looked after us and he was so so lovely. I couldn’t praise him enough! Very attentive, friendly and chatty- he was just super 🤩 he even spoke a little Irish to us ☘️👏🏼☘️ he looked after us so well. The food was beautiful, I had the Als Breakfast Bap it was delicious. Finished off with one of the ice cream sandwiches 😍 really really lovely. My friends raved about their food too. My friend got a lovely surprise and it was topped off when Philip brought her a special dessert. Really thoughtful gesture. We had a beautiful day 😀 Muse is a little gem, it’s clear the owner and staff work very hard to make it the gem it is. Can’t wait to visit again soon 😍

Delighted to have been able to pop into muse over the weekend and secure a glass pod and what a wonderful experience it was. I was thrilled to be out of the elements in such a lovely setting. I ordered the big Al’s breakfast bagel from the brunch menu and it was so delicious and filling. The staff were very friendly and attentive especially Caoimhe who looked after us. Definitely recommend it for others and will be making a return journey soon !

A perfect cafe in a great area! Staff are very welcoming and have created an enjoyable atmosphere to be in, not to mention the food is fantastic! I had the falafel wrap, which came with a side of homemade coleslaw and tortilla chips, It was delicious and very filling. Everyone else’s food around the table looked amazing and I would 100% recommend anyone visiting Kilkenny or looking for a day out to stop at muse for a bite to eat or coffee and a cake. Really enjoyed my experience here and sitting in the pods made it that little bit more special 💞

Michael my hubby & I had lovely brunch, we couldnt find place at first so maybe an extra sign at bridge for direction, we had to rush away that day as hubby hurt his back b4 we arrived in Kilkenny, so had to get the earlier train back but we will be back for delicious desserts!! I had brunch and coffee. They've set up the outdoor area very well with a mix of sheltered (reservable) pods and awnings, and fully outdoor seating. Sausage roll was delicious and a good size, and the flat white was very good. Okay, okay, the danish was great, too 🤫 After a chat with one of the gallery attendants on my way out, I had a look at the exhibitions — both the featured installation and then the permanent collection. There is some very attractive work. I liked Tony O'Malley's 'Summer Light', Jane O'Malley's 'Deep Pond', and Patrick Scott's 'Red <something I forget>' hung strikingly above the old fireplace. Anyway...I went back to the café after that for lunch and had the chicken club sandwich, which was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place was spotlessly clean.

The perfect cafe! The staff were incredibly efficent and polite, and generous with their time despite being busy and having a lot of awkward requests from our group. The food was exquisite, the healthy and delicious 'Green Bowl' was a big hit and meant we could be guilt free in trying the Apple Pie Pancakes and chocolate waffles - which were unbelievable. Lots of outdoor space and a great location in the middle of Kilkenny. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. We'll definitely be back!

Would be a 5 star review except when we returned the next day we were told brunch was only available for people who had booked a certain seat, which seemed very odd and caused us to go elsewhere for that meal. Fantastic place with a gorgeous outdoor settings. Coffee is spectacular and the sausage rolls are a must try ! Super friendly staff and so efficient will definitely return to this cafe.

Got food here today for myself and 2 friends for our work break. Got the bfast bap. So disappointing, by the menu and the girl on the phone I was so looking forward to it, when I got it I was thinking the box is very light, opened it and its tiny. For the price of 7.95 it's madness that it's was so small. Some streaky bacon egg and rocket. Definitely not worth the price. Although it tasted nice, I wasnt full or satisfied atall. We try new places around town every Saturday for a treat. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. The girls got a chicken sambo they wernt impressed either, but I won't speak on their behalf. The girl that served me at the window was lovely,but disappointed with the food.

My sister and I just shared a Muse Cafe Kilkenny local cheese and charcuterie box for two and it was fantastic! The choice of meats, cheeses and fruits was beautifully balanced and everything complimented everything else! Everything was so fresh, too, and the quality was second to none! I think the sharing box would be a gorgeous gift for someone, or perfect for a relaxed date night with a bottle of red! We will definitely be repeat customers!! ❤️

Visited Muse with my mam on a lovely sunny day. We sat outside in the beautiful courtyard and enjoyed amazing sambos, fresh smoothies and delicious Cloud Picker coffee. All of the ingredients are locally sourced and food is freshly prepared each morning. We took some cake and pastries home with us, which were divine! Muse is a little gem in the heart of Kilkenny city; a 'must visit' if you're in the area.

As visitors to Kilkenny we were recommended to come to the Muse Café Kilkenny. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and you are met by delightful friendly staff. All the produce is homemade, including the delicious goats cheese quiche served with excellent salad. There is a wonderful range of pastries and cakes and excellent coffees. If you want a delightful eating experience then this is the place to come. You can sit in the bright and airy café or the sheltered relaxing gardens. Many thanks Muse.

We visited Muse Coffee + Food when in kilkenny with family in August 2020. We ordered a variety of dishes for lunch including yummy pancakes for the kids, a croque monsieur with a fried egg which my dad and husband were raving about, a deliciously fresh salad with quinoa and other gorgeous homemade vegetarian salads served with sourdough bread, and some gorgeous homemade deserts and coffees. Everything we ordered was top notch and homemade using really excellent quality ingredients. The price point is so reasonable also, which rounded off the wonderful experience for us. Would highly recommend.

The Cheese and Charcuterie Box from Muse Coffee and Food is simply amazing. It is packed full of local cheeses and meat and seasonal accompaniments. Everything is top quality and mouthwatering. It is very adequate for 2 adults with good appetites to share with a nice bottle of vino. I would highly recommend this box for both the quality and quantity of the contents. Roll on the weekend. I purchased a cheese box as a gift for an anniversary present. I opened and quickly closed incase I kept it for myself. It was graciously received and devoured by all. I can't wait to gift one to myself, and more importantly visit muse when lockdown is over.
