Recently went for brunch here. Really tasty food. Lots of choice on the menu, especially veggie options. The team were very friendly. The cafe is light, modern and clean. Chocolate pancakes are a must have!

Often use the Pennyfeather since it’s recent reinvention. It’s a very relaxing cafe with excellent service. The food is very good and they put their own spin on some classics giving them a new freshness. They also have their own blended coffee making it one of the best in Kilkenny. I would highly recommend this place for both satisfaction and value

This morning I decided to have a very mindful morning and I could not forget to leave a review on this very beautiful cafe and excellent service. The server she was very polite and helpful. Anybody whom wishes to have a peaceful morning and beautiful delicious breakfast this is the place to go in kilkenny city. The flowers on my plate was brillant touch. Its such a lovely place; located on top of a bookstore it ensures that you can buy a nice book, walk upstairs and have an amazing lunch, which is really nice in the daily office life.

I'll make this simple, If you're in Kilkenny and want a good substantial breakfast or lunch (or coffee with a treat!), dont waste time with others, this is the place to go. Tasty homemade food, great dietary options AND if that wasnt enough, its upstairs from a beautiful bookshop...

Small restaurant above a book store, popped in for breakfast this morning,veggie breakfast very reasonable @ €5.90 with is served with brown bread or brown/white toast...disappointed about the Scambled eggs been made in a microwave but that's a personal preference, lots on offer on the menu I'll be back to try some of the desserts

Very pleasant café above a superb bookstore. Some tables offer a breathtaking view of the busy street. The dishes are simple and sometimes offer daring combinations like a salad on fries! The sandwiches and pancakes are very appetizing 😋

Eating lunch in Ireland is a breeze. There are places almost everywhere (even in pubs) where you can enjoy a healthy snack (a soup or a salad). And that business often requires a lot of work. This also applies to this location, located on the first floor above a bookstore. In addition to the savory snacks, you can also be tempted by something sweet (pastry). Or for some literary food when going out. Tasty.

Nice restaurant tucked away on the first floor of a bookstore. Upstairs you sit at about 10 tables, some of them by the window. You look down at the passers-by on the High Street, enjoy small dishes such as sandwiches or baked potatoes and are served quickly. All of this at very reasonable prices. Perfect.
