A friend recommended this place as it’s vegetarian friendly and the food is good. My kids loved the French toast and they didn’t skimp on the bacon or maple syrup which I appreciate. The smashed avocado came with a baked egg on top and some beetroot salad. My husband doesn’t like beets but he liked their salad. The inside is quite small so outside seating would be more comfortable. I recommend the brownie as it’s served warm with a side of cream and melted chocolate. I typically think it’s blasphemy not to serve a warm brownie with vanilla ice cream but this worked. I love food and I eat well and I although I don’t have a refined fancy palate I do know good fresh food. You won’t be disappointed. Bathroom was also clean and well stocked. Bonus for a working hand dryer. 😆

22.10 euros for a latte and two main dishes, good quality food, extremely friendly service, perfect location. If you fancy something else than a steak with chips, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended (the sides are lovely veg salads, it's a nice change really)

Great full Irish on the menu. Staff were quick pleasant and service was fast. Food was decent enough with the white pudding topping it off as it was gorgeous. 10 euro was great value for a full irish and a pint of miwadi. 5 stars for a great meal and great service. Outdoor and indoor seating. Good atmosphere aswell

Amazing coffee and the scone was so fresh (which seems hard come by these days!). If your lucky, there sometimes is a busker singing outside their cafe to enjoy while dining on the outdoor sitting!

Went here today on a whim as it was one of the only cafes opened and the menu looked good. Got a Cajun Chicken Focaccia sandwich and a Chicken Ceasar Wrap for my better half. Really tasty food. The coffee was a dark roast but not too strong with notes of chocolate. To finish we had their crunchie and smarties chocolate biscuit cake. It was the right amount of rich and fudgy. Will definitely be back again. Hearty reasonably priced food.

Small homley cafe with more space outside under the veranda than inside which is great as it's corner location on pedestrianised Kieran street means that it is perfectly situated for you to 'people watch' as you enjoy a relaxing coffee or sample their lovely sandwiches ... I was here with my husband and teenage daughter for lunch. We sat inside and it had a great stmosphere. The staff are efficient and friendly. The lady who seems to be in charge was incredibly good, very attentive and was flying about ensuring everyone was OK. The food was incredible. Can't wait to go back.

Woke up on a Sunday in the hostel in Kilkenny we were looking for a bar and despite Google saying that some bars were open we found ourselves wandering in the storm without finding anything... But in the end we found it! Cozy place, normal prices and friendly and helpful staff 😊
