Just loved it! Vegan choices in cake and specialties - very cozy and friendly atmosphere. Had the Aubergine stew with loads of pine nuts and flat bread and some nice tea, unfortunately I was too full to try the tasty looking vegan banana bread.. can fully recommend :)

Edit to add. Had the breakfast. Sausages were burnt on 2 sides and raw on the other two. Toast was basically warm breas. What I can only assume were the waitresses teenage friends were at another table and dividing her attention and although she was good, I felt like I was putting her put by asking for extra milk etc. The place itself is very nice the service and food leave a bit to be desired.

*Cash only* Very cute little cafe. There are two rooms, about 8 tables so big parties will be difficult to seat. They have savory and sweet crepes, the latter of which are delicious. The potato and leek pie is pretty bland. All of the baked goods are incredible: the carrot cake is moist, brownie is thick and fudgy, and scones are light and airy.

The tea room is one of the best cafés I know! The food is fantastic and the cakes are divine! I had an incredibly delicious pasta dish today, followed by the best red velvet cake ever! But the best thing about this beautifully decorated café is the staff and the boss, who are always friendly, approachable and heart-warming. To all Germans! If you love Rosamunde Pilcher, you have to visit this café!!!!

The food is great but the decor in bathroom could do with some tlc. They had a gardener doing some work so we ate our lunch with a petrol driven hedge trimmer spewing fumes and noise and hedge cuttings from above. They didn't ask him to wait while their customers finished and he didn't have the manners not to start with a full courtyard below.

Delicious cakes (we had the coffee walnut and the lemon drizzle 🤤🤤) and super coffee ☕👌. Lovely little sheltered courtyard to sit out the back, eventhough it was wet and windy when we visited, we were dry and with a warm jacket it's no problem sitting outside. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Left feeling so happy. 5 star service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Food is fabulous, lovely vegan options and staff super nice and helpful. We called in on a very wet day and the tea room was very busy but the staff found a space for us. In the midst of all the covid restrictions and weather warnings the staff were so friendly and accommodating.

It is a pure pleasure to visit the Tea Room, it is my guilty pleasure. I love the fire in the winter time it is so warm and welcoming. The selection of food on offer is amazing, you need to forget the diet if you visit I almost forgot to mention the daily specials board. The helpings are very good.and the selection of beautiful home made cakes is awesome. My favourite is the fried egg-bread, with bacon and maple syrup. They also do this with your and fruit both are great. There's a smoking area at the rear, with blankets where you can enjoy your cigarette and keep warm. To the Staff they are so efficient and friendly without being intrusive, they are real diamonds in my book.

An absolute must if you are visiting Castletownbere. A beautiful tea room that serves the nicest lunch and cakes I have ever had. The staff are so helpful and friendly too. I would highly recommend a visit!!

I went in yesterday during a brief visit to Castletown. I only popped in for coffee but the array of cakes were impressive and I was very tempted. The young lady who served me was lovely and very obliging. I had asked if it would be possible to buy some hazelnut syrup as I had run out and she managed to get me enough to last the rest of my holiday. Thank you for the lovely coffee.

Very good cakes. Unfortunately, there are just a few tables inside, but we took some slices of cakes takeaway and we were decidedly very satisfied with them. There is also a public parking nearby. Highly recommended.

The Tea Room is a B&B, but there is a separate cafe or tea room where you can eat. On warm days you can drink coffee, tea, and also have a snack on the street. There are tables.

Adorable little café, wood stove and jazz music, the atmosphere is very cozy. The welcome is very warm, the choice of tea is really interesting and they offer a wide choice of homemade pastries! We had a bruch with orange carrot soup and eggs Benedict, it was perfect!
