Beautiful litlle hidden gem. Host Chris was so friendly. Attention to detail was amazing from all the homemade breads to cakes and scones. We just felt spoilt. The room was very cosy and the most comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities available. The view of bunlin Bay too just so nice and tranquil. Breakfast was 10 out of 10. Couldn't fault it. We would definitely stay here again.

Bunlin Bay House. Wonderful house with lovely views over the sea inlet. Nice and quiet, great attention to detail. Warm welcome with tea and home made cakes. Lovely guest lounge with views. Excellent breakfast. Sent away each day with a bag of lovely homemade scones and muffins for our lunch. Very friendly and welcoming. An excellent B&B

Best b&b that we have ever stayed at! It's a mini paradise:) the House overlooks the bay that is teeming with swans. One room with ensuite bathroom looked over the bay and the forest beyond the bay, just like a painting!! We loved their porch next to the bay where we could sit and read books. Chris and Damian are amazing hosts! Chris is the best with all her tips and her wonderful wonderful baking. I wanted to pack up some of her homemade granola :) her muffins were delicious which she recommended us to carry it with us for the day. I loved their house, their hospitality, their location... We also spotted a rainbow from their porch. It was too magical!

Bunlin Bay House is an absolutely recommendable B&B! The hosts Chris and Damian are really lovely, very welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights in a room with private bath (i.e. over the corridor). Both the room and the bathroom were flawlessly tidy and nicely equipped/furnished. The bathroom was also especially spacious which was of great advantage for drying our stuff after a rather rainy hiking day... Our room's window went out to the hill side of the house where we could watch birds - such as our "private pheasant" who walked around there mostly all the time. The breakfast room looks down on the bay and you can enjoy Chris' delicious homemade scones, pancakes, marmalade, compote, fruit salad and/or a full Irish breakfast there - sitting in the morning sun. Damian and Chris also provided us with many very helpful hints about which places to visit and let us join them when they met with some friends for a music session at one of the local pubs. We had a great time at Bunlin Bay House and can really recommend a stay there!

The owner is simply fantastic. She offered us tea and cakes as soon as we arrived, she has a wonderful house, she is very nice. The room was beautiful and clean, carefully furnished and with a lake view. The breakfast was the best ever: yogurt, grits, pancakes, berry syrup and muffins all made by the owner. We were really sorry we didn't stay an extra day.

It is worth spending a night in this place, if only to enjoy the excellent breakfast prepared by the owner. Excellent room, with private bathroom, everything very clean. The structure is located in a fairly isolated area compared to the attractions of the coast (the Fanad head lighthouse is about half an hour's drive away), so it is suitable for those who have a lot of time available or are looking for a particularly high level of service --- Position 3/5 Structure 5/5 Breakfast 5/5 Hospitality 5/5 Quality/price 4/5
