Had breakfast here this morning with my husband and son. The vegetarian breakfast was fab the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff are super nice. Very friendly cafe. Loved it. Great atmosphere!

I was just there this morning with my grandson. First time there the staff are so helpful and friendly the breakfast was great and reasonably priced. My grandson left none of his scrambled eggs said it was better than his mom's. I would highly recommend this cafe.

A lovely place the food is fabulous here and the service is even better. A wide selection of dishes, some things on the menu which I've never seen in another café. The interior is bright and welcoming. Along with the morning coffee, the bright and friendly manner of the staff always manages to perk you up with a chat or a joke. I always end up going back.

I dropped into the Story Café for a coffee. I was given such a warm welcome from the staff. Really open and friendly, it made me smile. I'd a muffin - lovely, fresh, and served with cream. The coffee is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. The café is well decorated and there is clearly a lot of care going into keeping it looking well. The Story Café was a great place to catch my breath and get into the day. I'll go back again when I'm in Limerick.

Great selection on the menu, amazing food, clean facilities, relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff! This has become our weekly breakfast date spot. Also did a great job during COVID keeping up takeaway services with proper social distancing while collecting. It was great to still get to have our breakfasts!

Loved this place, genuinely stumbled upon it and I'm glad I did. Staff are pure sound and great craic, they make time for their customers and make you feel so welcome. I got the omelette with a side of chips and no jokes it was one of the best omelettes I've had. Go on pop in for a bite, i promise you won't regret it.

I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, and was made to feel comfortable. The staff were very nice and service was fast considering it was busy. Their crepes and coffee were decent too and the price was great. If you're travelling to Limerick City and looking for a non-touristy lunch/coffee spot with more locals, this is awesome. It's very close to O'Connell Street too if you're looking to get in some shopping. Thanks for the great experience!

The staff are great here, friendly and fast service. Good price and books to read. Good coffee, it improved from the last time I had it. Not too sure about vegan options as it was breakfast time so everyone was eating fryups. Would certainly go again. Maybe the owners could promote a small vegan menu, god knows the places to eat in Limerick are limited.

I'll start with the positives food and portion sizes - very generous and the food was rather tasty.. Good hot food on a rainy day is always good. However the atmosphere was rather claustrophobic and loud, legitimately could not hear myself think and I was with a friend.

The food was reasonably priced, but not great. There was a small basic salad with our sandwiches and the dressing really wasnt to our liking, a yoghurt/sweet sauce. Also if you are looking for a soup and sandwich pay for both, no specials. Staff are friendly and it's in a good location, with a decent menu. I wouldn't like to give it a 3.5 as it's certainly not a bad place, I'd visit again, but it's closer to a 3 than 4 (out if 5), no my option to choose 3.5.

Came here for breakfast since it wasn't included at our hotel and it was the best thing that could have happened. Large portions of delicious breakfast and lunch meals, good coffee, affordable prices and the owner is so much fun that you can't help but be happy and have a great start of your day. I would award six stars if I could. Actually a highlight of a week long trip around Ireland. :)

Excellent offering, excellent quality, beautifully presented: a culinary highlight. But the best thing about it is the way in which all (!) guests are welcomed and farewelled. Regardless of whether you are a regular guest or a tourist, a child or a pensioner, a family or a single, everyone is treated very friendly and in a good mood. You can't help but let yourself be infected by the good mood (actually a real understatement). If I didn't live 2,000 km away, I would definitely be there several times a week. Thank you very much for this incredibly positive experience!
