My boyfriend and I had an absolutely marvellous meal tonight, delicious healthy food with fantastic flavour profiles! We had the chocolate black bean chilli, lamb tagine and orange chocolate mousse - brilliant meal overall. Lovely atmosphere with gorgeous art, and perfect lighting. Overall a really wonderful cozy place to eat, and a special thanks to our server Kate who catered to all our needs for the evening. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place for a coffee or food. I had one of the omelette and it was delicious. The interior decorations are something special (positive I mean :-p) Also, check out the bathroom downstairs, something fishy going on there...

Best lunch I have had in ages. Had the Mezze platter and lemon meringue pie. Both were super tasty. I only pass through Gort every 2 months of so but I have now found my new stop for lunch. Staff super friendly as well. Highly recommended.

Great food but in take away containers.wooden cutlery. You are invited to sit outside at the tables but I wouldn't call it outside dining.staff are lovely. Prices fair .coffee delicious. I would go back as the food is fabulous

Fantastic food! I had a coronation chicken wrap that was bursting with flavours, followed by a rhubarb and berry tart, a kind of gourmet jam tart. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Absolutely loved the ambience of this place. The moment you enter here, it's like a whole new world of warmth and coziness. I was recommended to this lovely cafe by an acquaintance from Gort and I have to say, it was a delight. I just ordered a mocha as I was running short of time, but oh my God! What an amazing mocha that was. One of the best ones I have ever tried. If I ever come back to Gort, I am definitely trying more from their menu.

Amazing food! Fresh locally sourced ingredients. Great selection.. their vegetarian options are wonderful. Plenty of meat and fish dishes , fabulous pizzas and salads . Gorgeous sweet treats. Great teas, coffees, hot chocolate and craft lemonades. Alcohol served.Beautiful interior with exposed stone walls used to showcase art gallery. Downstairs, at the entrance to the toilets there is a lovely limestone water well (covered in with glass top!) that is now home to goldfish . Kids love it! Large front window overlooking village square. Well worth coming off motorway to visit this place. Very reasonable prices for such high quality food. Plenty of parking nearby.

My family and I spent the weekend in Gort for a Triathlon competition. After a tiring but lovely Sunday race, we needed a boost of energy. We discovered this special place at Gort main plaza. All about it is not the usual tea shop. From lovely tacos to moussaka or delicious calzone. Or an entrance to the toilet over a cristal dwell with orange fish swimming. And with the company of Cuban music in the background. We had 5 kids with us and, even there is not a children menu, they still have lovely dishes for me that can be prepared at half portions. We didn’t try desserts as we were full but they had over 10 different home made cakes and tarts, all of them wonderful decorated. Again, a lovely pleasant surprise in Galway county.

This place is the bees knees. Such a terrific meal experience. I want to sit and chat to the staff they're so sound, the decor is gorgeous. The vegetarian meals I've tried have been divine every time. They have a wide selection of non standard non alcoholic drinks which is refreshing. The pace of service is relaxing, nothing feels rushed. Good music and even live music at times. The art work is interesting and changes regularly. Tasteful mismatched furniture and really reasonable prices. What more could one want?

Went here as had been recommended by friends, the baked cheesecake was AMAZING, seriously the best baked cheesecakes I've ever had and one of the best desserts. The place was crazy busy when we got there and had a bit of a wait but that was worth it. Lovely decor and atmosphere.

Love the food, the friendly staff, there's a changing gallery of pictures each month, fresh flowers at the table, and yummy yummy deserts. I can sit outside n enjoy my mocha, with a lovely raspberry scone, after a curry.

All I can say about this Gort gem is... Go there! You may or may not get a table as this is one of the best restaurants west of the Shannon. My advice is book your table well in advance and have a wonderful time.

This small, cozy restaurant (which also doubles as a café and bar) has exquisite decor and a menu with dishes made with local ingredients, but with an excellent dose of creativity. It is highly recommended to seek advice when choosing. An appropriate wine list and local beers that go with the dishes without difficulty. Desserts for those who like to change flavors without abusing sugar
