Both my husband and I have visited the Ramble Inn many times this year. The food is excellent and it is always excellent and cooked well. It has been one of the best places not only for food but to feel safe during these covid times. During the summer months Michael has had two fine tents outside the premises. Everything is spotless and they adhere to all covid restrictions. The clientel are mainly regulars, workmen, farmers and families and the banter is mighty. The service is first class and Michael and family are always welcoming. Pat and Jan O'Dwyer

The food was nice but the customer service was poor. There was one friendly female waiter who was lovely to talk to. The rest were not pleasant at all. The allergens were not listed on the menu. We had to leave our table and go into a separate room to view them and compare to the menu we had in our hand. A few changes would really change my view on this place. Manners do not cost a thing!

We ate here on our recent trip to Ireland. The restaurant is on the small side but we found it charming. I had the roast lamb and my wife chose the roast beef. The meals were delicious, both meats were moist and tender. The prices were good for the meal you receive. But the service was second to none. Marion, our waitress was simply wonderful! Extremely polite, friendly and personable. Other waitress' could learn a great deal from her. The only negative was a bewildered looking waiter who came to check how we were doing midway through our meal which would have been completely fine were it not for the awful stench of body odor which my wife found extremely offensive. For the meals and the waitress it's 5 stars but for the waiter I drop it to a 4 star rating.
