Reviews of Fore Abbey Coffee Shop Café
Lovely, quaint little cafe with a very friendly and traditional feel to it. The sandwiches and cake we had were tasty and a bonus to see so many local little treats for sale too; jams, honey, cookies etc.
When the weather is good most beautiful place to be
Lovely scenic area for walking and views of Ancient abbeys. Nice to stop off n have a coffee n chat. Would call there any day.
Beautiful place and the Seven Wonders bar is a great place
Lovely spot for coffee or tea and and a slice of pie. Loved the cozy atmosphere.
This was one of the warmest welcomes ever. The coffee shop wasn't even officially open yet Jane opened it for our walking group and treated us like family - going over and back to get everything we wanted and then advised us on walking routes and gave us directions etc. Couldn't praise her hospitality highly enough and her soda bread is out of this world.....
Love the charm of this place. Myself and a few bikers have been here a couple of times. Very friendly.
Great coffee and cakes thank you 👍
Only in Ireland would you get this warm welcome and homely service. Our walking group arrived at 9.45am and were terribly disappointed to find our chosen meeting place for breakfast was closed. We spotted a lady leaving her house and asked her if she knew what time the coffee shop opened, her reply was 'sure I'll open it for you now.' She proceed to serve us coffee, tea, homemade soda bread and apple pie. When we asked for marmalade, she disappeared to her own home and returned with a pot of homemade marmalade. Jane also gave us a history of the area, and directions and advice for our hike. It was a joy to find that cafes like this still exist in Ireland.
Nice little spot. Good cake selection but would love a sausage roll
Nice little coffee shop sure takes the edge off after a long walk
