Had a wonderful coffee and Chicken wrap and the service was so friendly, we were shown their chocolate making service which was very interesting...if you are ever in Kilbeggan I highly recommend popping in for some lunch

Wow! This café was a pleasure to have lunch in from start to finish. The staff & owner were so incredibly friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. My two children said the pizza was the best they ever tasted! We bought a sample of the chocolate which is made locally by the café and it was divine! We will be back for another visit as soon as possible!

Came across this little coffee shop when we were looking for breakfast. Being a cold irish day, we ordered and received THE BEST HOT CHOCOLATE IN IRELAND. Made with their own chocolate, comes on a stick that you stir in your mug of hot milk. We will travel from Australia back to this charming place again, to be sure, begorrah.

On a whim I stopped in Kilbeggan, in the middle part of a journey across Ireland from Dublin to Galway. I didn't want to stop at the usual motorway services and drink the same coffee in the same surroundings. I knew Kilbeggan as a small and pretty town from many journeys through here before the motorway was built, and I thought that because of the distillery with its tourism draw that there must be a good coffee shop in the town. Along the main street I didn't have to think too hard because I could see a big sign saying Chocolate and Coffee Bar - what a combination, this looks great. I ended up talking with the owner who is one of a handful of bean-to-bar chocolate producers in Ireland, the coffee was great - by Italian brand Agust and the bar of milk chocolate that I had was so much better, next time I will try the dark chocolate. It is located just beside the river across from Locke's famous whiskey distillery in Kilbeggan and the chocolate making machinery is there for all to admire. Staff, including the owner, were friendly and the place was clean.
