My first trip back east in almost two years and it didn't dissapoint! The smashed white 🤤🤤🤤🤤 love this place, it makes every trip to kildare worthwhile ❤️ the staff are amazing and honestly outdo themselves every time I visit! I was temp checked and Covid cert checked at the door, the guys here are really on the ball!

Got one of their fabulous white hot chocolates. Lovely drink and I asked for not too and that’s exactly what I got, staff were busy but still managed to get their job done well and in good manner. Their breakfasts are amazing value for money with their full Irish only being €12! Unlike some other places nearby where two pre packed sandwiches are thrown into an oven turning them into a greasy mess costs nearly the same. The option for substituting out unwanted items and replacing them with what you’d prefer is there too, so great. The free drink with it is always lovely too. Will always return here, it’s a small town treasure.

The food here is absolutely incredible! Went for breakfast here and the menu all looks delicious it was hard to pick one thing! My friend is celiac and their pancakes are gluten free as well as gluten free bundies. The café is very covid safe with cleaning stations, temperature checks the menus are even covered in a special laminate. The price is also great I was shocked by how affordable it was after the amount we had ordered. Tea/coffees were included with our breakfast order. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area or passing through.

Really lovely spot. Eggs Benedict and French Toast are delicious. Can be busy at times but definitely worth the wait. Staff are polite, friendly and efficient!

The servers were nice, the interior was bright and clean. I had scrambled eggs and toast. The toast was nice, the scrambled eggs were watery and had zero taste (it was like eating thick yellow water). If you look at my picture you can see how wet it was. The water I ordered came in a sparkling water bottle but thankfully it was flat like I asked for.

We got dinner to take away last week. The menu is huge and the staff are thorough. We have a coeliac child and they were very careful to ensure his order was correctly made and packaged up separately. Food was delicious. We were given an option of collection time and it was ready within 3 minutes of my arrival to collect. 6 dinners with few extras came to 80 euro. We'll worth it. Highly recommended

Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is very nice. My elderly parents have been longstanding customers of this Cafe for years and they've always been well treated. During Covid they've swapped to taking takeaways while dine-in isn't available. My folks were well catered for even while eating in their car. Covid controls are in place and they also keep the place very clean. Looking forward to going back for a nice bite when things start to re-open. Just wish more restaurants were like this.

Fab food in a quaint little cafe. The blue cheese burger I highly recommend. Service was quick enough considering when we visited they were extremely busy with a queue out the door, which can only be a good sign. The little wait was definitely worth it.

Our favourite place to eat... Shona and Niall are chatty and give a warm, happy, friendly welcome... their management style has their employees following suit.... such lovely smiling accomodating staff with attention to detail and customer service is excellent..Florin in particular is always very on point with customers.. .the food is fresh and cooked to order and they always have a few specials too...the coffee here is excellent and roasted locally... I can't say enough good things about the Rye River Cafe!..Please visit and support the businesses in our beautiful village... you won't be disappointed with this one!!!

I am a regular customer to this splendid cafe when I visit kilcock, the food is always superb, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. When we have visitors this is the place to bring them. I live in Maynooth with all its restaurants yet I prefer to drive to kilcock and pop in to the Rye Cafe because of its superb quality.

A little cramped and nasty breeze every time door opened if you were sitting on that side of cafe..The plus side is this is a great place to eat and they do daily specials and quality of food is great too.. Our last visit we encountered an angry delivery man from Pallas foods who was obnoxious to everyone..I held the door open for him and he nearly took me out on his trolley..No reflection on Rye River Cafe though. Think Pallas foods should send him on anger management course though..
