I salivate just for thinking of the Fruit pavlova I had there. It was perfect burst of flavour at every bite (the coffee was perfect too but it’s competing against really delicious food, so…). And the portions are really generous. I got one to share and I regretted it after the first spoonful, while eyeing gigantic apple pie slices and lemon meringues going to other tables. And on top the nicest service possible. (If only they had a made to order option…)

Staff lovely, great service but tables are very close together, not a place to try manouvere a stroller or buggy, perhaps their intentions. Food portions particularly chips are not enough, good menu choice.

Café Continental was a very beautiful location with great staff. From the front door Attendant to the Waitresses to the Cashier, they run a slick machine. I had a delicious cauliflower and brocolli soup and ham and cheese sambo. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. My sister had a club sandwich and the 2 others had huge servings of Thai salad. They looked really tasty. Service was quick, even though it was busy indoors and outdoors.

Had lunch here, while visiting Newbridge and Kildare Village, I had the chicken caeser salad, served in a beautiful bowl, fresh, crispy, loads of chicken and bacon, my companions had chicken salad again very good all protocols in place, one exception my companions told me the ladies toilet need a make over badly.

We Stopped by for food while in Kildare today. This place is great. Food is Fresh and tasty with a huge selection on the menu. Fabulous facilities outside with social distancing etc Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ go to the wonderful staff, very friendly and efficient. Very good workers.

Favourite cafe in Newbridge. Food delicious, coffee beautiful and staff always welcoming. My favourite breakfast avocado egg and lunch club sandwich with soup. Alan is always super nice to everyone. Good job 👌👍

Lovely staff and nice premises but very disappointed again with my lunch. bought a ham salad sandwich which was dry as a bone, when I opened it there was no butter or mayonnaise on it, the 2nd time this has happened!! since when do you not butter the bread! had I asked for no butter that would have been fine. also a lot of cakes and scones on display near the cash register, whatever about the usual coughs and sneezes people do on the premises I really think there should be a cover over them to protect them from germs particularly during this pandemic, as I noted also not everyone wears a mask going into that restaurant!!!!!!!

Fantastic cafe in the heart of Newbridge. Had lunch there which was delicious. Great service, was the two of us plus our baby in a buggy and they made sure we were happy with the seating area especially with all the various Covid 19 measures they have in place. Lovely food, staff and outside seating covered by a canopy.

My favourite place to eat .. Everytime I come to cafe continental it's friendly warm atmosphere puts me at ease. All of the Staff are very pleasant. Very kind to my kids and chat to them. It's the best place in Kildare County for food! My dad and I go every Sunday morning for breakfast!!! Great menu! Busy all day every day!! But don't worry you won't be waiting long for a table!!!

My family have enjoyed several delicious breakfasts here. The panckes (crepe style) with crispy bacon and maple syrup is a firm favourite but couldn't fault any of their food. Only disappointment is the cheap carton orange juice so opt for water or coffee instead.

Nice food here. Friendly service but the tables are very close together which makes it a little uncomfortable. Menu is varied offering a selection of sandwiches, soup and hot food. Good location on main street and close to the main shopping centre. Lots of parking nearby.
