This small unassuming coffee shop was a real delight to find as we passed through Portlaoise a few weeks ago. The coffee was delicious & so was the food. The very friendly young man who served us had just made the most delicious chicken pesto wraps - & he gave us the recipe. Seated outside in the tranquil surroundings on a warm Sunday lunchtime was just bliss. This young man deserve 10 out of 10 for hospitality, efficiency & mouth watering chicken pesto wraps.!!

Especially during the increasingly warmer, beautiful weather during this pandemic, this place is an oasis. The staff are extraordinarily kind and attentive and the coffee, tea and gluten free carrot cake are astounding. There are concrete seats outside and a park with concrete seats nearby. Bliss ❤❤❤❤

A great range of coffee and treats both sweet and savoury. The staff are also welcoming and so helpful. Tropical smoothie is the way to go in the summer, and in the winter you cannot beat their mochas. They have something for everyone with meaty breakfast croissants and deli choices, to vegetarian wraps and 'sausage' rolls, and gluten free options as well.

Friendly staff, nice vibe. Limited food options. I had the breakfast croissant and it was good. There is also the option of Oat Milk for coffee, which I really liked. Back of the shop was a bit smelly. But overall a nice atmosphere.

Went there on Saturday morning with my wife for the first time. Staff were very friendly and efficient. I had a scone which came with jam and butter and it was delicious. My wife had the hot chocolate and a muffin.....she loved them. Definitely will be back!

Very friendly staff and nice coffee. Shop style is also so cosy. Only thing is sometimes the shop can be extremely warm inside but other than that I cant complain.

Small, like most cafes. Nice staff, nice coffee and quick to serve. Some of the nicest coffee around. Shame it couldn't be in the shopping centre or the Kyle centre. Rent would be more expensive but they would get more sales from me. I don't like travelling out of my way to get nice coffee. One piece of criticism I will give is that they have a habit of adding too much sugar or at least not blending it in well enough. I was drinking my cappuccino and I noticed it was empty but still heavy. There was a thick block at the bottom of the cup. I mean it was about a quarter of the cup. Starbucks in athlone shopping centre have done this in the past too. Chocolate brown in Tullamore have never had this problem. Well at least I've never experienced it. I have experience it here a few times. Not a big deal just kind of unappetising. Other than that it's a great place for coffee.

Lovely place located on Main Street. The chocolate in a mug is delicious as well as the "Jumbo brownie". The shop assistants are very nice. 100% recommended.
