Was passing through Abbeyleix and stopped by for some takeaway toasted sandwiches and coffee. Excellent and really friendly staff. Will buy more of their produce to take home next time.

Freshly baked cardamom buns and sausage rolls are brilliant here so is the coffee. Love the selection of bread on display. Definitely seems to be a favorite with locals. Also worth mention is the covid protocols in place. Safe distancing nd min or safe handling of food and cash was a pleasure to note.. Few seats available both in and out. Discovered the place while passing by but definitely would return. Will

We were passing by Abbeyleix and we saw a bakery and decided to stop. It was the end of the day and we were lucky that there were a few items which we could take home. We tried the sourdough and the raisin and walnut sourdough - both amazing. But THE most amazing of all the things we tried were the cardamom knot buns. If I lived in Abbeyleix I would be queueing for these every day. We will be back...

MnCs offer high quality products that won't break the bank :D It's great to see a quality bakery open in Abbeyleix. A return to times gone past when Irish towns had a local bakery. We rarely by mass produced bread these days because the quality compare to MnCs does not begin to compare. And their selection of sweets is second to none. My fave creations at the moment are the Tea Soaked Sultana and Multi Seed bread, the Pear and Almond tart. The coffee is also top quality and always keeps me coming back. Other business should take note of this coffee quality. Bad quality coffee is just not accepted these days. So fair play to the MnCs barista's. But MnCs staff really do offer top friendly customer facing service and always have a smile on their face and always willing to have a chat with their customers. This takes them to the next level in my opinion as a valued local business in Abbeyleix.

How did we ever manage before the bakery? Fabulous bread & treats & savouries baked on site. Lovely coffees to take away. Great staff, happy place to shop. They also stock other local products which is wonderful. My favourite treat at moment is cardamom knot, have to get there early.

Best coffee for miles but I can't recommend enough the 'unlimited toast' offer at €2.80 a person. Beautiful craft baked fresh bread you can help yourself too. All on the floor of an old AIB bank. A great choice if in Abveyleix.

We stopped here (quite by chance) on our first day in Ireland and had the best ham and cheese sandwiches EVER. Months later we're still talking about this wonderful cafe with its delicious food and lovely staff. Everything about our visit was perfect for weary travellers (including chatting with friendly locals). Highly recommended!

You can smell the fresh bread on the way into this bakery. The coffee is excellent and we also bought some snacks for our day such as scones and muffins which were all very good. Biggest problem is that it is not open everyday and the hours are limited but when open it is a good place to stop at.

Stopped in for a loaf of bread but stayed for a coffee and a toastie as the place had real character. Toastie, on their own sourdough and local ham & cheese, was really delicious. Coffee however was mediocre and service slow. Although with only 2 people working and the place full I would cut them some slack on the latter. Would visit again on the strength of the toastie

We had a light lunch here and were very pleased with the quality and taste of the food and coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets were very clean. We will visit again when in the area.
