s. s.Ordered a Latte, extremely good coffee. Have to say one of the best coffee I have tried in Sligo town. The baristas were really friendly and professional. Pastries look delicious and will try the next time. Coffee lover should not miss this place.

P. D.Simply the best place to go for coffee in Sligo, and definitely one of the best places in Ireland. At least in my experience. Feels more like going to visit a friend than going to a coffee shop as the staff are so lovely to talk to. I go in pretty much daily and their coffee is always fantastic and I've never had a bad experience. Cannot recommend visiting them enough. Go in, get yourself a pour over and learn a little bit about the coffee making process.

D. D.THE place for seriously good coffee. Great selection of roasts including single origin, and a variety of brews including pour over. Even the water is custom-tuned: there's a reverse osmosis filter carefully set up to provide the perfectly-mineralized water for coffee. Price-wise it's about the same as any other coffee place, so it's an outstanding value for money. There are also nice pastries. :)
In short, this is clearly a labor of love, and probably one of the best places to go for coffee not just in Sligo, but in Ireland.

But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the... "new". The world is often unkind to: new talent, new creations, new ways of tasting coffee. The idea of the "new" needs what we all seek in life : friends . Yesterday morning , I experienced something new: an extraordinary white chocolate mocha from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the coffee and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine artwork of the batista is a gross understatement.
They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for the quote of one Ryan Philips stating that :"Anyone can make good coffee." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great coffee artist; but a great coffee artist CAN come from ANYWHERE. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now roasting coffee beans at Rover Coffee labs, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest quality of coffee in Sligo. I will be returning to Rover Coffee Labs soon, hungry for more. And I bought their signature mug. Yup mullingar ❤️
