Brunch options such as mushrooms poached eggs and eggs benidict available till 3pm is a welcome addition to Tralee limited offerings. Menu is varied and very tasty. Good options available. Parking is good and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Coffee roast is slightly bitter for americano but OK if you add milk /oat milk

Always friendly, quick service! Always a high standard of taste and ideal portions. You can taste the quality of food and ingredients, and the coffee 100% in my top 3 in Tralee. Great that they do a ring in service also so if you had a time limit for lunch etc great option.

A hidden food "jem" in South of Ireland 🇮🇪. The food is outstanding. The caramelised brioche with berries and Roasted nuts just melt in your mouth. If you're in a mood for more savoury dish try out the poached eggs & avocado 🥑. The staff are very friendly, even have me an extra caramelised banana. For all the coffee snobs, like myself, you'll be very impressed with their coffee quality. You have to go for their Colombian chemex.

Stopped here for brunch on the way back to Dublin from the Wild Atlantic Way. We had no booking but we were quickly and pleasantly seated by the manager. Our coffees arrived quickly and they were very nice. Food shortly followed and was absolutely delicious! We got eggs benedict and eggs royale. Two huge and delicious portions! On top of the great food experience, the staff was lovely and prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

This is by far my favourite coffee shop in Tralee. Always clean and well presented - a must in current 2020 circumstances - as well as an extremely good flat white. A little on the expensive side for treats, but the decor and service make up for it. Well worth a visit if you're visiting Manor West shopping centre.

My favourite Cafe in Tralee. By far the best coffee in Tralee, the food is surpurb, lots of choice and overall healthy once u stay away from the cakes, fresh ingredience. My BF is vegan and she is easily catered for too. Can't say a bad wirk about the place. I'm a regular.

Lovely food. Good location. Nice staff but not very alert. One in particular should get another interest cause she was no good in a restaurant. All the tables were dirty after lunch and she was oblivious. Stood lookin around or on her phone the entire 45 mins I was there. Had to wipe down a table for myself. Could be so much better.

Very disappointed this morning when I called to Bookshelf like I do every Thurs morning as its my Thursday treat. I bought one of your reusable cups when you first opened and went on to buy one for my son and father also. I alway get scrambled egg and a coffee to eat there and a granola to take away. However when I ordered my coffee this morning I handed in my reward card to be stamped to be told that I was no longer entitled to a stamp as I was using a reusable cup and already got a diacount for this. I couldn't believe my ears. There are several people there every day with reusable cups and now we are all losing out. I feel this is very petty and won't have a positive effect on your business. It's a pity you had to ruin a good relationship

Today was my first time to The Bookshelf in Tralee, and while the food was lovely the service would not encourage me to go again. The waitress was rude and condescending (without reason to be) and gave the impression that waiting on people was beneath her. I asked what was in the Strawberry Smoothie and she didn't have a clue, just informed us that its bought in ready made. This should be indicated on the menu but she should still have been able to tell us what was in it. Twice she corrected one of our party on their pronunciation, even though they were correct, and when a third asked for hot chocolate made with coconut milk she was informed they didn't do it. I should say at this stage that the others in our party are frequent customers and have always had the coconut hot chocolate and the service was always excellent. This waitress needs training and needs to learn her menu. I cannot fault the food however it was delicious.

Finally a Café in Tralee that's enjoyable to be in and is trying to up it's game over the rest of the crowd. Great coffee, the brunch/breakfast type food is really good and the staff are always friendly, approachable and in good spirits. They've also done an excellent job in creating a relaxed atmosphere in there and the high table with the plug docks in slightly segregated part of the Café is a fantastic idea. Love coming here.

Some staff friendly others not so. I wanted a simple, plain, ham sandwich for a child but they couldnt do it because it was Saturday or, it seems, on a Sunday either, for that matter. Not sure why. The rest of the menu is trying too hard to be something special. The place was busy though and thats a good sign.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast bap and pot of tea. The staff were nice and efficient. However the music (if one could call it that) playing on the speakers was dreadful. The best way to describe it was a person mumbling and a drum machine blasting away. It wasn't too loud to be fair but it was at a level where everyone had to raise their voice a tad and this made it difficult for anyone to have a quite chat. The cafe was almost full at the time and was very noisy.

coffee and scone good though pricey. in fact all the menu pricey. tried the french toast was expensive and was not nice at all, had waited ages for it so ate as much as i could the bread was not soaked enough in the egg , so hard and no taste hardly any syrup or fruit . not impressed. had other items from the menu i was unimpressed with also. soup good and good value. will stick to yummy cafe for my french toast theirs is great and alot cheaper
