Never have a carrot cake at Eden Deli Café, it'll spoil every other carrot cake you'll ever eat after! Best carrot cake I ever had ❤️

Now that we can go out, we get a takeaway drink and a treat and sit beside the canal and enjoy it. Today we had a fresh scone with butter and IRISH Gourmet Preserves blackcurrant jam, it was delicious (as always) My companion had a chocolate biscuit cake which was scrummy. It's obvious they use high quality ingredients. The coffee is excellent and is served in a Green Cup which is fully recyclable/compostable. Last week we had a pear and almond friand which was sinfully gorgeous, and a Lemon Drizzle cake which was better than I make myself. The Eden Deli is our favourite treat in Edenderry and it is great to see that they take a proactive approach to ecological concerns. Delighted they are open again, for takeaways and we are looking forward to being able to go in for breakfast, brunch, lunch or just a treat and a cuppa.

Poached egg and bacon, the BACON was proper old style with a real rasher rind and would put the multinationals to shame. Literally "full as a bingo bus" on 2 rashers,2 poached eggs and 2 toast.

I got a scone and it was orgasmic.the raisenns are sun dried Californian raisens and the flour is hand ground by eunoch monks from Belfast.It was delicious from the first bite to the last.The staff were amazing too.
