I cannot overstate how much I loved this cafe at first. The coffee was fantastic until the owner left to have her baby and suddenly it started to get a little more burnt tasting over time. I have worked in many different cafes over the years, so I know the signs that standards are slipping. They used to make the effort to interact and listen to customers, but as I frequented less and less frequently, I felt less valued as a customer going in and they would only chat away to their friends or daily regulars. The food remains beautifully presented and super tasty, but the presence of 3 people behind the coffee bar with another 3 people in the kitchen is unnecessary in a pandemic, particularly when several staff members cannot be bother wearing their mask properly. One in particular likes to wear her mask under her nose! Not why you want from someone who is making your coffee. For the above reasons, my and my partner stopped going a while ago. Such a shame. I will give it a try again in the future, but for now I think it needs a long hard look at its staff and how to improve services
