Overall a fun experience and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the building is badly neglected and smells of damp. Hopefully they can modernise the place as there's a lot of potential here.

Great experience. 2 of us did prison break and really enjoyed it, clever puzzles and lots of different spaces! Our game master, Mark, was great at checking in and helping out with a couple of hints here and there when we asked - even though he seemed to be manning the place on his own at the time! We even got to try a bit of axe throwing on the way out (who knew?!). Highly recommended.

Incredible fun for our team. We had a party of 20 which we split into four groups of five to try different rooms. Every single group enjoyed the challenges and the teamwork involved. Expect a nice variety of puzzles and also different levels of complexity for the different rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, without being overbearing or hinting too much. The building is old in an alluring way that lends itself to the escape concept. If we had time on this trip everyone agreed we'd love to come back and rotate rooms. Highly recommended!

If your looking for a different experience than the normal then give this a shot. With 4 rooms to choose from there is something for everyone I'd personally recommend the prison break room . Staff always greet with a smile 😁 .

An afternoon well spent! Myself and my friend challenged ourselves to the "Prison Break" escape room and it was fantastic. The puzzles were clever and the story was engaging. The hour went by so quickly and we just about made it out in time, so it's definitely challenging enough. It's a perfect team building activity for staff and would make a great Hen/Stag day out.

Great experience! You can choose from various rooms - some are harder. The boys will guide you if you're stuck and will keep an eye on you on the cameras. There is a cafe and seating area for anyone who is not joining in. Definitely a must do. At least once ☺

Loved this experience, I went here with 15 of my friends and they all loved it. The rooms are well designed and the staff are super friendly. There's a nice waiting area with a pool table and seating. Super great place and the prices are well worth it. Thanks guys 💪

This was very interesting, just dropped in for a coffee ( very nice and inexpensive) because my sister and I liked the name ( The great escape) and the look of place. We were talking to the girl who was making the coffee about the game rooms( I thought it was for ' digital gamers' xbox and PlayStation users etc) she told us there is a series of rooms containing clues which lead in turn to the next room and that everything in the room is there for a reason, as it was early in the day she showed us the first room, I don't want to give anything away so all I will say is that I am very keen to revisit that room with friends especially Lady Fe Fe ( good with puzzles)

We Escaped !!!!!!!! Review of The Great Escape Waterford We had such a blast here last week :) . We decided last minute to do the Prison Break room and were lucky enough to get the last booking of the day we just barely escaped with 5 mins to go this was our second time there and would highly recommend giving it a go. The staff are super and will give you some clues if you ask on there walkie talkie system. We defo coming back to try the hardest game Madness :)

The great escape waterford is a great activity out of the ordinary! I visited here with two friends for something different to do at the weekend and played their "Prison Break" escape room! It was a great mental challenge and serious fun and thankfully we sucessfully escaped! A couple of weeks later I went back with another group of friends and had equally as much fun in the "Madness or a Brilliant Mind" Room but were not so lucky this time and ran out of time before we could solve the room. Shane and the rest of the staff give you a detailed run through of what to do and provide you with a nudge in the right direction if you get stuck! They also serve a range of coffees, teas and drinks which are as good as any of the other coffee shops in town! Would highly recommend a visit and another visit after that again!
