A great experience. While the cafe only has very limited space inside, there are two small tables out on the street from where you can watch the world go by. Its part busy main road & part quiet mainstreet.
Out the back however, there are a lot of tables at which to eat, and a number of them are also under a high roof. A really quiet & private space you would never spot from the street.
Our food order took a few minutes because it was quite busy, but when it came it was excellent. The simple things done really really well, even the crockery looked like it was someone's best set from the early 1900's and it gave a wonderful feel to the place.
I would definitely recommend stopping off for a coffee or some food, rather than just passing through town like we've done for so many years. Not any more.
Gave the Tea Rooms 4 stars only because of the very limited space inside. Everything else was great. Staff, facilities, food. Definitely recommend.

Really wonderful cafe, with great outdoor seating area out the back. Cash only when I was there.

We stopped at the Blue Bicycle for a spot of lunch. The scrambled egg, seaweed black pudding and boxty was delicious. Afterwards we had home made lemon cake...divine. The coffee shop is spotless. The garden out back is beautifully laid out with blue picnic tables and music...I'll definitely be back.

What a find! Historied tea-rooms, all blue and white and cut stone, super young staff serving super fresh sandwiches, "teas", and libations! Perfect antidote to our Burrishoole Loop Walk, keep it up BBTR!

Long overdue review! called last summer and was very pleased with everything. Very friendly staff, welcoming and great food too! I will be back in summer 2018 dv when cycling the fantastic greenway. Always love to call for the cuppa and Lyric FM provides relaxing background music.

Great cup of coffee!
I was served a Bristot espresso, not one I'm familiar with but very pleasant.
This cafe has a lovely open area at the back with a huge amount of seating.
