Reviews of Louisburgh 74 - Café Bistro
Lovely place to drop in for something to eat, friendly staff, homemade delicious food and loads of books to read. We also got advice on driving through Delphi which was an outstanding experience. We will return. Thank you.
As an 80 year old, a person who has been many scrummy places in my time, I couldn't be more satisfied with my meal and service. All staff had masks on and were very friendly and the server was wonderful and extremely kind. Would recommend this place to anyone with a digestive system. Thinking of bringing the grandchildren here.

Cozy friendly spot, great selection of gifts too
A gem of a cafe. Wonderful light lunch menu. Pleasant, attentive wait staff. Eclectic collection of books. Light airy dining room. My other dining experience in Louisburgh was a bit of a disappointment. I omitted reviewing that dining place, because a bad review helps few and hurts many. So if your looking for a quick bite with a dash of something a little nouveau, try this quality establishment.
Delicious coffee & wraps and friendly service.
Chilled out cafe. Good selection of food and beverages.
We went to Louisburgh 74 this morning for breakfast. What a fantastic experience! Lots of choice on the menu & the girl who served us was so lovely. She was happy to let us pick a few things from the menu to suit our toddler. There was a highchair available if required. Our toddler's food was served with our coffees. The staff are obviously really clued in, as often, in other cafes, our food is served first leaving our toddler cranky & needing us to entertain him. Our waitress also brought out his water in a reusable plastic cup with a paper straw. Again, seriously child friendly & the novelty of the straw kept him occupied for another ten minutes. The food & coffee was fab! The decor was so quirky & the cafe is spotless. We cannot recommend this cafe enough!
Food great had breakfast, lunch and dinner here was just a fab place. Book library is an extra bonus for kids to take one and donate to charity for it. Bought cordial and jam and tea all excellent quality. Will be back.
Really lovely place to visit. I felt so welcome as i walked in the door. Food and cakes looked amazing, Lovely place to go with family, plenty of space. Nice and clean too. Staff so friendly.
Lovely food although had ran out of some food by 7pm ! What we had was wonderful. My daughter being vegetarian was well impressed with the Veggie burger + my son loved the sausages. The best was being able to bring your own drink ( + No corkage charge like some places do) The staff were really pleasent + only too happy to assist you in what ever you wanted. We also purchased 2 books ! Gave a small donation which went to a local charity ( great idea) the choice was brilliant ! I could go on for ever about this quaint, wonderful little cafe/ restaurant. Thanks to all the staff. We will be back again very soon x Lorraine from Birmingham, UK
A gem in Louisburgh. Food is tasty, hot and plenty of it. Staff are friendly. Facilities clean and outside area bright and welcoming.
Enjoyed my meal .but service is slow .it properly depends what you have to order .but was worth the wait
coffee not so great but the ice cream for the kids was delicious
I love this place. Food is great and very reasonably priced. Local and clean. Staff very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Will be back 😃
Lovely local cafe, great panini, sandwiches and dinners are daily specials, second hand books for sale or to read whilst dining. Great stop off on wild Atlantic way. If you make it this far make sure to co tune in to Silver strand
Absolutely fabulous chowder, best we have ever had packed full of chunky pieces of fish and shellfish. Friendly staff, great service and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend for lunch.

Great Cafe
Superb selection of lunch and cakes
Coffee is nice too
We went here off recommendations from some local (also recommended TIA if in the area but it was closed).
Our food was good, most reasonably priced. What I liked most was the local/handmade bits for sale and that is what gave it the 4th star.
This cafe is a must visit. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff were excellent. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fabulous place to eat! Food is beautiful, great selection of both main courses and deserts. Staff are so friendly and polite! All round brilliant place to eat and would recommend to everyone!
Lovely cosy bright cafe. The food is delicious, bread and butter pudding like Mammy used to make! You can even pick up a good book for a small donation in aid of the Order of Malta. A must if you're in Louisburg or passing through.
I visit Louisburg 74 every Thursday afternoon with a friend and I would highly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area and is feeling hungry. The owner is very friendly and professional, and her staff are a very happy bunch. The Menu is well thaugh out, very reasonably priced and very tasty. What more can I say, pay it a visit and see for yourself. Marie Freeman, Westport.
Busy and staff were a little disjointed. We had take away sandwiches which were good but would probably have been better eaten in.
