D. B.Discovered this restaurant on our travels around the island. Nice menu and food was tasty and delicious. Crab claws were the special. Staff very helpful and friendly. COVID-19 precautions were well managed.
Toilets clean. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended.
J. K.We've been coming here for years, the views are majestic and the food fit for seafood lovers. The crab claws, salmon duo and seafood platter, when available, are a must. Menu is comprehensive and great value with truly generous portions. Super family friendly spot.
S. D.We arrived at 4:30 so sadly they were all out of crab claws for the day. Instead I got chowder and mussels to share…. There were a LOT of mussels, the pot in the photo is accurate. The portions, in general were really generous and the quality was good too. We’re thinking of swinging back tomorrow to try the crab 🦀

R. B.After a boggy wet hike we drove here to eat and warm up, best meal I had while staying on Achill. Soup & brown bread were delicious, servings were very generous and staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the island

T. C.This little restaurant was suggested to us by the owner of the B&B we were staying at that time. We are three different amazing salads! The prices were great for the amount of food we had. On top of that the view was amazing. If was a bit windy, but still we chose to stay outside and enjoy the view.

S. M.Beautiful cafe with fabulous food overlooking Dugort Beach. The fish pie is gorgeous and their fresh fruit pavlova is AMAZING. Varied menu that is nicely priced. It can get very busy at times and because it is small you may have to wait for a table, but it is worth waiting for!

A. G.The Cottage is an AMAZING Cafe! The food is delicious! Its is VERY busy and you have to wait for a bit. Oh, and btw, the chocolate cake there is AMAZING! Its the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted!
B. M.The cottage serves all home cooked food. Everything is baked or cooked fresh daily. The view from the cottage in Achill is breathe taking. The only fault I would have is that service is slow but most people are on holidays and are not in a hurry.
