Stopped for a snack. Must admit - my wife knows the owners, might cloud my judgement. It's a bit off the main road -under a kilometre - but quite worth the drive. If the weather's good, the deck outside has some super views out to the sea. Although I'm prejudiced, the food looked good and our scone and cake was perfectly tasty and fresh! Owner managed businesses always produce good food and service in my experience.

Superb! A most enjoyable experience. Beautiful sweet potato/carrot soup followed by toasted sourdough sandwich with goleen, chorizo and tomato with leaf salad. Ideally located half way between Cork and Waterford. Worth an hours break on your journey. .....and did I mention the sea view or the open fire?⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟

We got incredibly lucky and stumbled in to the Garden Kitchen for a coffee but ended up enjoying an unbelievable ham and cheese sandwich along with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie! The husband and wife owners are both gourmet chefs and were nice enough to introduce themselves to us. Very nice touch. If you are driving from cork to Waterford definitely drop in.for excellent service and delicious fresh bread baked goods

My son treated me to a Valentines day lunch, takeaway of course.. Most delicious toasty I've had! Can't wait. Until lockdown is over and we can enjoy the beautiful food while sitting on the veranda enjoying the fantastic views! Homemade chutney too. Apple pie was delious and filled with apples. Recommend to the highest degree.
