I highly recommend Joe to anyone learning how to drive. Joe is an excellent instructor and was the main reason behind me passing my test first time. He is very helpful, calm and is very good at identifying your weakness' and helping rectifying them. He is the best around.

After completing my 12 EDT lessons with another driving school pre-covid but needing more practice, I ended up doing 6 lessons & a pretest with Joe, passing my test on the first go. In hindsight, I would’ve done my EDT with Fingal Driving School. I would highly recommend Joe to any learner driver who is slightly nervous & looking to learn the fundamentals of driving in a comprehensive & stress-free manner. Joe is an exceptional instructor. I have never driven a car before, he taught me very well and I passed the driving test at the first attempt. He is extremely professional-calm and patient, yet always very thorough with things that need improving and the “how to do it”. Joe is an outstanding instructor, he is very calm and patient and very encouraging while driving. I booked my driving test in Finglas leaving myself with very little time to practice and was recommended to do some lessons/pretests with Joe by a friend. I did two pretests with Joe, one 3 days before my test and one literally just before my test. He was able to tell me everything I was doing right and wrong and how I could perfect it. I listened and remembered everything Joe said to me going into my test and passed it first go with only a few minor faults. I was recommended Joe by a friend and it is only now that I am reading his reviews! I have to say I agree with them all. Joe is everything you want in a driving instructor, calm and patient and very thorough. He put up gallantly with my nervous chat during lessons and helped calm my nerves before the test. I needed a new license as my South American one was about to expire and I knew that I had picked up many bad habits along the way. Joe had identified them all within the first hour. I would highly recommend having a pretest lesson just before the real test to get you into the perfect head space. It helped immensely also that I could use his car. I completed the lessons and driving test in just over four months and passed first time, bloody chuffed! I drove for a very short time as a teenager (18 years ago) and wrote my car off quite quickly. I never enjoyed driving, it made me nervous and I was happy to go without ever since but with kids however it has become a must. Joe the instructor is a gent. The instructions given are clear and he is very patient. I did two pre-tests and failed both but he gave me notes and advice to work on and it worked a treat. I'd highly recommend this service especially if you are struggling.

Great teacher. Awesome personality. Excellent door to door service. After EDT lessons with Joe, I passed my driving test in Finglas (nice area by the way, excellent RSA testers) on the first attempt on February, 28th, and received my full license from NDLS shortly thereafter. I'd highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for driving instruction, from complete novice to experienced holder of a license conveniently not recognised by Irish empire. Absorb carefully what Joe teaches you, use your brains, don't rush, and you'll pass the test in no time with flying colours, and, more importantly will be safe driver.

I can't recommend Joe enough. When I got my final test date and saw that I had 3 weeks to squeeze in 12 lessons I thought there was no hope for me and considered just cancelling the test outright, but Joe made sure he could fit me in. Joe was outstanding, he was a very helpful and knowledgeable instructor and it showed! He's very calm and will go at your pace, which is essential for quelling them driving nerves that we all get. I passed my test first time with Joe's help even with the above time constrictions which just reinforces his ability as a driving instructor. I did my EDT driving lessons with Joe, He is a very good driving instructor. Goes threw everything with you He is honest about the things you do wrong and right, he doesn't make you stressed like other driving instructors. I tried to other driving instructors before Joe and they were not good at all and they were expensive, too Joe's driving lessons are not expensive at all. I am delighted to finally pass my driving test and get the full driving license. Thus, I want to thank Joe for his support and very useful classes. After completing my EDT with a different instructor I have started to look for a new instructor, as the previous one was trying to up-sell more classes. I bump into Joe accidentally in Google suggestions. After first few classes he could identify my driving strengths and weaknesses. When my classes were over, Joe agreed to hire his great and comfortable car to me for the driving test. During the pre-test class he gives a lot of valuable tips and advises for the driving test. He is very patient and professional driving instructor. Therefore, I recommend him for everyone who is looking to do the EDTs or to improve his or her driving skills.

I came across Joe's details from the RSA site and chose him without much research other than he was based in Swords as was I. I moved to Ireland from the US and was in need of getting my Irish driving license. From the first driving class, he was able to identify several bad habits I had picked up after driving for 15 years in the US. The level of detail he provided was very helpful and allowed me to pass my driving test the first time. His option of allowing you to use his car for the test was great as well as I wanted to be licensed to drive a manual but both of our cars were automatics. I would recommend Joe to anyone who is in need of getting their classes done. Thanks Joe!

I was able to pass my test first time and I wouldn't have been able to do it without joe. He was excellent and knew exactly what was required for me to pass my driving test. He helped me break a whole lot of bad habits that I had developed and tack got rid of a lot of misconceptions. Moreover, the way joe taught me to drive was far more practical than what I had learned before. After each lesson, I had at least 2 or 3 things to practice and improve on before the next lesson and it made preparing for my driving test and fixing the faults with my driving much easier. If you want to pass first time, this driving school is the way to do it

I had failed my first test the with the so called "best in the buisness" Airport Driving Shcool, they wanted more and more money I didnt know wether they where teaching me or scaming more out of me, because of this my confidence got knocked down. I had a second test coming up so I booked 2 hourly sessions with Fingal Driving School (for a fraction of the price of the previous school I might add). The instructor was super friendly and within two sessions buit my confedence back up, I then went on to pass my test with ease. If you want an instructor to cut through all the smoke and mirrors that some schools have Fingal Driving School is the place to go.
