I purchased a fridge freezer from the store In Carrickmines on Sunday 21st November with salesperson Mick. He was a gentleman and took me step by step through the process. Today 23rd my fridge arrived and was installed by a cheeky chappy (didn’t get his name) but I thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humour The whole process from start to finish was seamless if I have the need to purchase again I know exactly where I’ll be heading. I would highly recommend for top class service… thanks guys

Have been dealing with Power City for years,got some budget stuff starting out when money was scarce,I never had a problem with anything i bought here. I have been back a few times in last year or 2,mainly updating a few bits & bobs.they are conducting business very professionally today due to restrictions .ok you have to wait & be patient.its the way it is at the mo..i got experienced sales man ,selection made & ,had item in the van 25 mins later.& a great price too.

Prices are always low. Your warranty is not always so good. If the item is faulty, instead of a replacement they send it for repair. It's a bit of a risk.

Bought a new cooker Hotpoint double oven in power city Fonthill.had it installed. Was fine for two weeks , then on closing top oven door the glass shattered. Rang Power city their so called customer service told us it was shatterproof. And did we lift oven in by the doors ? No we had it installed professionally we told them. We were then told that our guarantee was with Hotpoint. We rang the UK for about two weeks and they told us they would send engineer out. After two months of ringing and paying for another new cooker we received cheques for original cooker. We purchased from Powercity.our guarantee was with Power city. They insist not. So going to small claims court as matter of principal. So their customers service department in Bray, might learn the law, and some manners Gerry Mcloughlin

Dec 22 , 2020..... Queued at entrance to store. Security organised entry when appropriate and social distancing organised well. Once you enter shop , a member of stall will assist you with your order, you then pay for your purchase and leave. Works well. No browsing In store as such right now. .

We like Power City for their good prices.. Also they have a wide variety of hover bags which we always have problems finding. One thing that I can appreciate is also their recycling center. You can drop any unwanted or broken small electrical items for free and they will take care of it. Love it

Bought new tv in Power City. Hadn't a clue what brand/size I was looking for. Was met inside the door by Brian McDonnell, who very quickly helped me figure out what the best size for me was. He talked me through the various pros and cons of each brand and model of tv. 25 mins later I walked out the door with my brand new tv. Delighted with my purchase and the excellent customer service. 👍

Ordered and paid online. 2 people allowed in at a time, gave my order number told where to wait. Left waiting for over 30 minutes, half a dozen people who came after me were served before me, I complained but got no explanation or apology

As with all Power City stores the lay out is the same. This is to be expected at this stage. This is my go to electronic store. There is good value to be had. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a wee return bin just inside the door at the check out. Staff will lend a helping hand if items are bulky.

I was looking for a fitbit watch. I knew Argos had them for €160 but I wanted to see if I could get better at Power City. Just my luck, they had the same watch (Fitbit Charge 2) for €130. I picked it up but while I was there, I picked up something I completely didn't need - a digital clock with FM radio and Bluetooth sync built-in. I have to say, it made a great addition to my desktop. PowerCity is an almost one-stop shop for all your tech-savvy needs. A wide array of televisions, and if you're looking to get a matching kettle and toaster, you can get them right here! Haha
