a. m. (.Stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't have asked for anything better. From the girls in reception, Miguel in the restaurant, and Simon in the bar we were well looked after. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the buffet breakfast didn't fail to satisfy... We spoke with the owner, who stopped to say hello and check that we were happy with everything. We also got some fitness advice from her, to help out with our sore backs.. The staff are doing an excellent job, and we would definitely go back without hesitation. We would highly recommend this hotel.
S. C.Gorgeous hotel, old style and so are the staff. By old style I mean they treat everybody with respect and greet them with a friendly smile. The way thing used to be before life became complicated by mortgages and covid. I loved every second spent here

During my stay room cleaning was on request, which is reasonable during these times. The restaurant here offers tasty meals with lots of variety, during the colder days there was a cozy fireplace. I'd like to return some day!
s. c.From the moment myself my husband and our friends checked in Jackie at recieption was so friendly and made us feel so welcome… our rooms were beautiful and clean and so comfortable…. We had dinner in the evening and from waiters to waitresses they couldn’t do enough for us so pleasant and friendly and so we’re the bar staff … food was just delicious and very well presented… I would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning soon and in the future

J. N. A.Booked last minute, stayed two nights and very pleased. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Nice room, clean and had a mini balcony. The food was fabulous! Excellent choice for breakfast and very tasty, and we ended up eating in both nights as we enjoyed our dinner so much the first night. We also had cocktails and thought they were delicious, lovely treat.
J. L.Stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Having stayed here before, I find this hotel never disappoints. Our stay was made more special by the lovely staff especially Jason, Jacquie, Dee, Simon and Olga. The food is exquisite, we ate there for every meal. I especially loved the pancakes so much so, I ordered it every morning we were there. Next time we are in Killarney, we will definitetly be booking with this hotel.

The staff went out of their way when our group arrived to provide accommodation for some of our group due to a mix up over dates.

B. S.Spent two nights here at the start of September as part of our Ring of Kerry trip. Nice hotel on the ring road round Killarney town. Plenty of car parking in front of the hotel. Rooms very clean and have both a bath and an a shower. Buffet breakfast was great and the two evening meals we had in the restaurant were very tasty. Nothing seemed to be a problem for staff. They even let us watch the Northern Ireland match on one of the big TVs in the bar. Beer prices reasonable at €4.50 for a pint of Guinness and €4.70 for others. At €40 per person per night they weren’t too hard to pay either.

G.Had a lovley stay at the heights, spotless clean friendly staff, breakfast was buffet breakfast, our only dislike was the bar food we had in the evening, it seemed to be all cooked from pre packed frozen food nothing fresh even the chicken wings seemed to be from a packet, nice stay overall but wouldn't recommend having dinner there, expensive and not great .

Fish and chips came with frozen peas mashed, frozen chips, side portion of frozen onion rings. Thank god the fish was fresh and perfect. For €18.50 you'd expect fresh chips and onion rings. 2 star because of the food.
c.My family and me went for a staycation holiday to kerry for three nights and we chose the heights hotel. It was very cosy, the rooms were nice and warm. There was some dust here and there but over than that quite clean! The customer service was very kind and explained clearly how everything worked there and where everything was. One thing that bothered us was that the restaurant wasnt very nice it was basically just a pub and there wasnt much of a choice of food. Breakfast wasnt bad but there werent things like pancakes or waffles or french toasts. Mostly only eggs, sausages basically like most things from an irish breakfast and then also cereal and pastries etc. Overall very nice stay and would recommend if not staying for a long time! ✨💕

t. a.5 stars for the hospitality alone. The staff went above and beyond for us, in particular the night porter. The people working at reception were as polite and helpful. The waiting staff simply excellent. The hotel itself is perfect for bed and breakfast. It took 20 minutes to walk to the town centre. Fair play to everyone at the Heights Hotel. I'll be recommending it to anyone I know looking for a place in Killarney.
T. T.Rooms are big and clean. Staff is nice. But there was an issue with a radiator in a room. It wotked on maximum without any opportunity to reduce temperature. After my call receptionist switched it off.
On my opinion its unacceptable for a hotel to keep their equipment broken. Staff should check such things.
The other thing i didn't like was salad ceasar. Salad leaves, crackers, mayo and batter prawns. Probably these ingridients were mentioned in menu. But this salad wasn't what expected to see. So can't say i liked their kitchen. Though people were really nice, I'm not sure i wouod like to get back here.

The breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food available and im only sorry that I didn't get the nane of the girl who so kindly offered her soya milk to enable my daughter to enjoy her breakfadt. Dined in on one evening. Meal was grand although I fail to see if the bacon is served on a bed of mash, why there was mash and baked potato in the vegetable dish. A few greens like beans or broccoli wouldn't go a miss.

P. K. W.What an amazing place. We stayed here for two nights and three days. It is perfect base for someone covering Dingle, Ring of Kerry and cliff of Moher. It's close to everything..the staff was very friendly, especially Sarah. The breakfast was amazing especially with crossiant and chocolate puff. We also had dinner and chef went out of way to make pasta for us. They followed all the rules for Covid. It's really gem...we got special treat for our anniversary which really made our day more special.
V. M.The room was large, spacious, and clean! We had dinner at the hotel during our stay, and it was rather awkward as far as service goes--we didn't get checked in on and had to flag down any employee that looked like they were working in the restaurant whenever we could. The food was good though!
My only other issue was that our room got very warm due to late check in and the heat being on. We tried to open a window, but couldn't open it far so the room was pretty stuffy our whole stay. A nice hotel overall though!

R. C.Outstanding hotel for the price. Large room for three. Large bathroom with lots of towels. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. Great service and drinks. The bartender was even willing to make a drink for us that he had never made and it came out great. I only gave the hotel a 4 star because the beds are hard. If you like hard beds then you won't mind.
m. m.Hotel accommodation and staff faultless. Bar and restaurant staff dreadful. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Half hour wait to order nothing arrived on time Kitchen closed half way through meal so no dessert or coffee. Drinks arrived without being ordered and were added to the bill despite being sent back and wrong price charged for items but not to my advantage. Faulty towers springs to mind.
K. W.Hotel was clean, and staff were pleasant. However, there’s no way this a four star hotel! The rooms and corridors are very dated and badly need to be renovated. Also no food available after 9.15pm. The outside really needs a facelift, weeds growing, plants dying and not a flower to be seen.

N.It is a lovely quaint little hotel in the Irish country side. The breakfast was good and they had fantastic live music some of the nights I stayed their. They had fast, strong, and free WiFi. I very much enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were huge. They only thing that I really didn't like was that there was not air conditioning in the room and it was the dead of Summer so that was not ideal, to say the least.

We ended up driving back on ourselves to go to the same hotel for the remainder of our stay due to it being clean, quiet, comfortable and modern in comparison to the other tatty and run down hotels you find online.
This hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable. There’s plenty of parking if you’re coming by car and they have a bar open till late. Staff are very friendly and willing to accommodate.

When i complained about it the waiter told me to mention it next time I'm in. Whatever that means.. won't be back I'm afraid. Was a regular visitor.. noticed people came in later asked was the carvery still open they were told no. never offered them the bar menu. 5 people left hungry..

Natalie and all the staff really took us in as part of there family and last night we went back for our meal and with the new menu (Devine) and again the staff were just so generous, amazing and so kind. B. B.Nice facilities, good restaurant. The problem was, there was a party in the bar that went pretty late. Our room was directly over the bar, so we could hear the thumping music all night. We called the front desk to complain, and they told us not to bother trying to sleep.

Apart from that it's excellent nice break fast .. great service.. Finally Please update your coordinate in website it takes back side of the SuperValu.

К. М. (.Highly recommend for a stay at wonderful Killarney! The service was just perfect! Very comfortable and big rooms, with a teapot and coffee and tea. Big free car parking. You can get to the city center by foot in 20-30 min.

V.The hotel is 7 mins by car from Muckross park, which is very comfortable if you want to spend a day exploring the park. The room was specious and clean.
Probably the tubes need some revision, there was a slight unpleasant smell in the bathroom in the room 231.
b. o. f.The Killarney Heights Hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to stay for a weekend. Management and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious, warm and cleaned daily. Dining there is 10 out of 10. Can't wait to go back again.

When I tried to have a bath the water came out brown, staff said the pipes were not cleaned out & asked if I could have a shower. Having said that the food in the bar is top quality, I would definitely go back for food but stay elsewhere.

Fantastic Hotel and that is not overstated.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly crew. Its perfectly clean and warm throughout with a bar menu and also Resteraunt menu.
Let me tell you the food is to die for...
Fantastic chef and fresh produce made both bar food and Resteraunt food equally perfection.
I have stayed in many hotels throughout the years and this is easily the most enjoyable by a clear mile. It will bring me back to Killarney which is also a very nice town with all big branded shops as well as the quaint...Delight for the tourist's..

We have a 3 month old and our room was down 2 coridoors, through 2 sets of double doors and up 3 steps, which we had to lift the buggy up.

P. O.Myself and My now Husband celebrated our wedding on the 6th of December. From the start of our planning we contacted Natalie in the Heights hotel and BANG it was done. The entire day was seamless from our arrival to the last drop of prosecco. In my opinion every staff member deserves an Award for being efficient, professional and going above and beyond for every member of our wedding party. Natalie and Katie were so warm and inviting and Thier interpersonal skill are out of this world. Thank you so much team and hope to see you for our anniversary. Xoxoxoxo
