K. K.I was at a function tonight and was very impressed at one of the car staffs customer service. Claire noticed that the person serving me had not given me a glass and despite being busy placed a glass up on the bar for me despite her being busy at the time. It’s her attention to detail I was impressed with. Well done Claire.
P. R.Choice of menu met our needs for an evening meal, promptly served by efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast was more than adequate and lovely atmosphere in dining room. Catherine in reception is so ideal for front of house-welcoming and accommodating. Yes, the bedrooms are not ultra modern in decor but otherwise clean. My daughter & I enjoyed our 2 night stay.
A. M.Morning tea and a scone beautiful presented with mini pot of fresh cream topped with a segment of orange for a delicious fresh scone and a perfect cup of tea .Staff very pleasant and prompt with service.Seating area was clean warm and very welcoming.
S. M.Stayed here for a wedding and had a great time. Staff are so friendly and helpful and the service is excellent. The wedding suite needs to have a nicer view and be updated, however the rooms are clean and well maintained. Will definitely return here.

D. M.My grandmother used to love the carvery in this hotel. The menu has changed significantly since COVID-19. There is no longer a carvery during the week, only on a Sunday. The staff are very friendly and many have been there for years, which is always great to see.
M. O.Very basic, unimpressive menu. Lovely, friendly staff, they were very accommodating, the hotel met my hygiene an health and safety standards. Unpleasant outdoor dining experience and to my knowledge even though I had proof of identity and my vaccination card, there were no options for indoor dining. There is a nest of bees and wasps around the hotel that kept landing on our food and going into drinks! They need to call for pest control methinks.
T. M. D.Hotel room very dated, view of a wall and pipes from our window. The hotel needs to be updated. Most of the staff were nice but some of the older ones need to try harder. Our wedding planner changed three time in five months and was no were to be seen on the day. Very bad form from a hotel. Our left over wedding cake went missing and our cake topper has still not being found. Because we had a civil ceremony and didn't go for the full package I felt we were not important enough or didn't spend enough money for them to care. It is only now a week after our wedding that we realise what was left out of our day that could of made it that little bit better. They should of cared a lot more about Our special day.
P. B.I stopped in here for a quick coffee with a friend - what a truly miserable place. We were directed to the bar & at 12.45p.m. the place was empty. I'm not surprised. The ceiling of the bar is adorned with disco lighting of various colours, which looks hideous. The staff, dressed in black, all shouted at one another. We ordered a coffee & a tea & shared a Coronation Chicken wrap. Drinks came in silver teapots - & I can honestly say the worst tasting tea & coffee we have ever had. No one offered a latte or even a cappuccino - had they even ever heard of it or do they even have a machine ? The only good thing was the wrap. At least it was plentiful as we had told the waitress we would share it & quite tasty. On reflection - I am being generous with three stars
L. D.It's a nice hotel but a little bit old fashioned. Could do with modernising it a bit. The food was amazing but the starters are like a main course so would recommend getting a main & dessert if that's your preference. Staff are very polite,friendly & helpful

The broccoli and cauliflower were obviously frozen as they were full of cold water. The potato was cold. Breakfast was, at best, mediocre.

R. R.Super kind staff to a failing elder who needed help with rollater and hip-height chair. The food was terrific: special mention to a welcome shared pleaser of jalapeno cheesey-chunky chips, then later, salmon and crispy duck. Four of us ate with relish. An overnight double offered full bath, reading light, tea tray and deep peace.

L. M.Fantastic hotel, we have stayed here for the past few years, good is gorgeous and amazing staff. They often do great deals on pigs ack, so worth a look there. They offer deals to tayto park and Dublin zoo I think. Cannot recommend enough.

W.We had our wedding at the ardboyne this past weekend and all I can say is the service was absolutely exceptional they went above and beyond in every aspect no stone was left unturned and nothing was so much for them.Leone was just outstanding at her role as wedding coordinator she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed through the all the uncertainties of Covid. I genuinely couldn’t recommend the hotel enough they were exceptional.

It was odd being in a hotel for a funeral and being the only guests, but the Ardboyne was a really pleasant experience. If anything, the rooms were a little bit warm, but I doubt my mother in law would complain. Thanks Ardboyne.

V. F.Was there for a secondary school ball and it was very all well organised. From arrival to finish, sorting out the kids to their respective buses without losing any! The security people were really top, the hotel staff friendly and professional. The premises are comfortable. The function room spacious and well decorated. It looked very nice and the students were delighted. A great night for them. Would definitely recommend this place for similar dues.
B. M.Stayed a few times in The Ardboyne, on this occasion stayed overnight B&B last Saturday. Room lovely, Staff friendly, Food was delicious but service could have been better. Find it expensive to stay over €160 per night. Far better deals around Ireland to be had for more nights less expence....

D. T.Attended for evening part of wedding reception. Lovely room and decor. Sufficient parking. Some people not happy with pints from the bar in the wedding room so went to hotel bar as they were "better" there. Staff helpful and friendly. Evening food tasty and fresh.

M. C.Lovely comfortable hotel. We were there at a wedding reception. The food was excellent...huuuuge portions and choice of a main. The tables were beautifully laid out. Rooms were full of all essentials. Shower was like a massage it was so powerful. The staff couldn't have been more helpful & friendly. We had a lovely stay. Breakfast had a wide variety too. My husband had the Full Irish I had fruit and yoghurt etc. Lovely.
R. R.We found ourselves having to book a hotel in for the night after our holiday plans were unexpectedly changed and we had to change airport.
The reception staff were exceptionally helpful as we had arrived before our room was available, but they looked after our baggage, and sought us out in the bar restaurant early when our room become ready sooner than expected.
Holly, who served us lunch in the bar restaurant was friendly, helpful, welcoming and chatty, professional but with a very personal touch. She even recognised us the following morning at breakfast and wished us well on our onward journey. Our plans changing had made our situation a little fraught, and Holly helped relax us and made us feel much more settled for the rest of our stay at the hotel.
Jack, who served us dinner on our night's stay, was also welcoming, attentive but not intrusive, friendly, and chatty, and, like Holly, was a credit to the hotel. He made recommendations and helped us with a change of choices for one of the menu items. He also made our stay very enjoyable.
Another plus to this hotel was the shuttle buses that whisk you to and from Manchester airport, in fact, this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, it made our travel plans easier and less fraught.

P. S.The rooms look very dated, but fortunately this does not stop you getting a good night's sleep. It was nice and quiet with a very comfortable bed. On arrival there was no kettle in the room, I contact reception and within 2 minutes they delivered a pot of hot water to the room, and another 2 minutes later they delivered a new kettle
The breakfast was average, a good fry up, with cereals and other stuff on offer for wierdos.
C. H.Overnight stay for a business engagement. Large and comfortable, though a little dated room. I had dinner in the large and spacious bar, decent menu of slightly above the average pub fayre. Monday is a big social night here, with live music and popular acts, makes the hotel much busier, but never felt crowded or overwhelmed. On the whole, nice enough place.

S. C.Nice hotel with a homely feel and a lovely garden hidden away at the back. Staff are pleasant helpful and accommodating. Everything was fine with the room which was ground floor looking out onto a courtyard with picnic tables. This serves as a smoking area for late night function goers - maybe ask to be moved if you're a light sleeper or allergic to cigarette fumes. Good restaurant. More special needs parking would be useful. The main car park is small and busy and the overflow car park is tough going. Overall a grand place to stay, right in the centre of County Meath and easily accessed from the M3.
M. S.Dropped in quite spontaneously the morning after a wedding. Found this to be a great place to go for a Sunday carvery. Even when there is a big crowd, the service is very fast and there is always a good selection of food. The foyer is also a lovely informal spot to meet for a cup of tea or coffee.

A. M.A Friendly relaxed atmosphere from you walk in the doors. Restaurant and Carvery serving excellent food and you can even book ahead. Was once the choice venue for weddings in the north-east and still does a fantastic job today, just more hotels and venue options available today.
They have a very large function room for up to a few hundred people along with other rooms catering for smaller groups.
D. V.If all you want is a clean bed, hot shower, and great breakfast than Ardboyne Hotel your kind of place. Staff is very friendly, place is very clean, plenty of parking spaces, beautiful outdoor garden in the back of the hotel. Breakfast buffet offers large variety of cold and hot food. Only 30 minutes drive from Dublin International Airport.

As someone working in the industry i can appreciate the amount of work theyve put in and rhe quality of service, and they are the reason i made it 3 stars instead of 1, the food was apauling, really barely stomachable. All 3 courses were shocking, bread with the starter was like rock definitely a number of days old. Mains was bland and half cold and the meat was like rubber. Dessert tasted like it was bought from the discount out of date fridge in tesco....
Altogether your waiting and bar staff made up a lot for what would have been a very bad experience.
e. m.It's ok. I was there for the afters of a funeral. The food was fine but basic. Once we left the reception area, the temperature dropped as we headed for the "Tara Suite", - doors to smoking area were open which explained the chill factor. It was adequate but nothing more.

R. b.This is a 3 star hotel on the edge of Navan ,I have stayed here when we go to Navan races ,it is 5 minutes from the track very handy, the rooms are warm and comfortable with a large bar diner ,also a carvery at week ends ,a lot of weddings are also held ,food is served up to 21 00 ,which varies from soup and sandwiches to full 3 course meals ,and breakfast is very good 😁
