S. H.Attended a wedding at The Station House and it can only be described as magical. The outdoor area is breathtaking and inside all the buildings is very cozy. The staff were extremely friendly and I’ve never experienced service like it at a wedding. Food was served quickly and efficiently. All our meals were very tasty and really can’t fault them. Would 100% recommend for a stay and especially a wedding

From the moment we arrived till the time we left we were treated like royalty. Service and staff were exceptional food fantastic and rooms were just brilliant. It is truly a great venue for a wedding.
N. M.We went for the Boyne valley experience. It was suppose to start with an afternoon tea. We got 2 mini scones and 1 tea :) Then, the experience had a cocktail before the food and it turned up being a glass of prosecco. Is prosecco the cocktail from the 21th century ? The meal itself was amazing. Good food, great wine and great atmosphere. On the next morning, for the breakfast we waited 20 min for the order... Again, the food was really good . Personally, the least positive point was during the check-out where we were informed we had a charge in the room we didn't consume. I had to show my pending movements from the bank where it had my balance. Wasn't expecting that, but overall considering all of it it was a positive experience. I recommend the hotel, but there are aspects to improve.
T. D.Excellent venue for a wedding reception that we attended as guests. We were very impressed with the entire setup during these Covid times. Everything was well organised and laid out. The walk down to where the ceremony was held in the wooded area was really nice and all lit up. The food was really good and many other guests thought the same. The choice of mains was different to the usual mains selection you get at weddings and it was so good. Overall a great location to hold a wedding reception 👍

S. S.Our friends got married here. It was an absolutely amazing setting for a wedding and from my point of view the day went seemlessly and well handled by the staff who were very helpful and friendly. I can only speak highly of it as a beautiful setting for a wedding. There was one problem, on the morning of the wedding they were having issues with the boiler and unfortunately no hot water. Obviously most of the guests where there for the wedding and so it was cold showers for everyone staying in the barn rooms. We had a lovely day, went to bed with a heavy head and sore dancing feet only to wake up the following morning again to no hot water. They staff were very apologetic and offered a partial refund which we accepted. It was a small issue in my opinion but worth mentioning as I heard they've had similar problems before. Hopefully they've now had a new boiler fitted to cope with the number of guests showering. I would still highly recommend this stunning location.
J. C.Staff are really friendly, can't do enough for you. Our room was spacious, immensely comfortable and spotless clean. The food is simply fantastic and offers real value for money. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and in the bar on our second and the food was delicious on both occasions, I would recommend the chorizo carbonara, but make sure to ask for the chefs special soup, the beef and tomato, it's not on the menu, but it's heavenly. After eating, we retired to the lounge to occupy a table by the fire before turning in for a sound night's sleep in an extremely comfortable four post bed. If you're looking for somewhere a little special to stay, I couldn't recommend the station house hotel highly enough.
C. L.I got married here in 2014 and came back for a lunch visit. The food in the restaurant is still top notch and the grounds are so beautiful. The whole location has an olde-worlde, quaint, vintage vibe. I was always impressed with the staff and on our most recent visit everyone was so accommodating and friendly. I was especially impressed that Henry who helped coordinate our wedding day (almost 3.5 years ago) remembered us on our arrival for lunch!
If looking for a prospective wedding venue I can't recommend it enough - but even just for a drink, lunch, afternoon tea (the homemade scone...😍) or dinner followed by a walk around the grounds, it can't be beat!
N.Am sure the place is great as I've being here before but unfortunately the Christmas dinner was way out there not very nice TBH for the price should have just kept the food simple it's a Christmas dinner no need to dress it up.stick to the basics the cheese cake ? If that what is was,was far removed from a cheese cake never again for this event the staff where great and the venue is excellent just got it wrong this time I'm my opinion

J. M.We had our wedding at the Station House in November 2024. It was an autumnal themed wedding and to say the staff and the venue exceeded our expectations and our vision. Since I was younger I knew the Station House was where I wanted to marry and I couldn’t believe it was real on the day. The station house staff was so understanding about our requests and kept in constant communication throughout the whole year. The grounds were so incredibly beautiful even that late into autumn it was still stunning, myself and my husband were so happy all day. The rooms including the bridal room were perfect however we were a slight bit delayed in getting into the bridal room to change but managed in the end, I will admit the showers in the other guest rooms were a little tight. The food was incredible and the drinks were great! Our guests loved how incredible everything was including the grounds and food, everyone was very happy and full for the whole day which was great! I did want to mention Caroline who was our wedding co-ordinator to tell you she was an absolute credit to the venue would be an understatement, she has been such a support for us and without her we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. Just a small note for future brides/Grooms if you do not fill out the rooms you do have to pay for them which put a bit of pressure on us but worked out in the end. However I would still do my wedding all over again and would highly recommend.

From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, making the planning process so much smoother.

J. D.Drove out of Dublin for dinner here. The place is truly beautiful, with paths through trees and an amazing set up. The dinner was great; they have a fantastic menu and bar that has multiple options, including vegetarian ones too. The staff was extremely friendly and close-knit, it felt like the sort of place for a homey high-end getaway! Could not recommend more!

Devon went above and beyond to make sure our day went with out a hitch. Rooms where beautiful, staff couldn't have done more. And everyone single guest went mad about the setting of The Station house. Would highly recommend.

From the first time we stepped foot in Station House we knew it was our dream venue and this was only solidified when we met the amazing staff who showed us around. Every single member of staff we had the pleasure of interacting with were truly incredible and couldn’t do enough for us, not only on the day, but the first viewing, the tasting and the morning after the wedding the staff were incredibly and consistently attentive which makes the beautiful hotel and grounds all the more enjoyable. The food was incredible and our guests remarked that they had never been to a wedding where they were fed so much which is a great complaint when the food in Station House is so tasty! I feel privileged to have been able to have my wedding here and hope to be able to attend another wedding here someday! If you are thinking about this venue for your wedding, I couldn’t recommend it more!
P. M.My family from Australia of 10 people pulled into the hotel today unplanned after a vehicle breakdown. We had a magnificent lunch and the staff of the hotel were awesome even with a wedding going on at the same time they accomadated us and gave my family an awesome experience of an Irish Hotel at its best. Thanks guys for making what was a bad day out turn into a marvelous experience for my visiting relations!!!!
A. F.Beautiful little boutique hotel. Was at a wedding there. The sun was shining, the garden and grounds were spectacular. The lovely sun umbrellas on the patio area added to a lovely continental feel. While two wonderful musicians played background music at the drinks reception, people just sat around chatting or walking the gardens. The atmosphere was very special. Staff were helpful and friendly I wasn't staying so can't give a room rating.
Would love to go to another wedding in this venue.

We had a beautiful varied set menu with something to suit everyone. The food was absolutely delicious and could not be faulted in anyway. The service was beyond excellent, with a table of 10 demanding kids/teens, they were treated with nothing but kindness and attentiveness. A special word of thanks to Colin and his team who went above and beyond to make our daughters confirmation a special memorable occasion. The service of all the staff we dealth with throughout the hotel left us leaving extra happy and its very safe to say we will be sure to return to for any future celebrations.

J. K.I've stayed here 3 times. First was about 10 years ago for a wedding and I thought the venue was so-so, and we stayed in their off-site accommodation in a house in an estate in Kilmessan. Second time was last year for another wedding. Venue was revamped and it felt miles better. Our room in the venue was very nice too. Third time was a few weeks ago for a tasting menu and it was brilliant. Food was delicious, not wildly out-there but well executed. The wine pairing was great value I thought, in fact I thought the dinner + one night B&B was all great value. The staff were so friendly too. It isn't something I'd be doing very often but a really great present idea for a couple, but going with a small group of friends would be a delight too.

Treat yourself to afternoon tea and meet the very hardworking staff. The work they put in for the weddings and guests is unreal. I must congratulate the management and staff for their time and attention to details while still being helpful to each guest. Nothing is to much .The gardens are a credit to the grounds keepers. It's a pleasure to take a walk listening to the birds singing.The outside lights make it like a wonderland. In the center of the wood/garden is where you can get married. It is a former train station that has been converted into a luxurious hotel, with 81 en suite bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, and a bar. The hotel is surrounded by stunning countryside, and is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Station House Hotel for a wedding, and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful stay.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and they all have a private bathroom. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night. The hotel also has a number of amenities, including a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa.

On arrival we were met with a receptionist who was being extremely rude to a member of a wedding party and she didn't change her attitude when we confirmed our reservation. The restaurant was lovely and the staff in here were very kind. However, there was a confusion in respect to the menu and we were not allowed to order 1 or 2 courses but had to order all 3 courses. Just to be clear if you did not order the 3 courses you had to pay for them. The food was nice but the tables are quite close so the table beside us started joining in our conversation. All in all a real mixed review

As a wedding venue, we couldn't give a better recommendation: location; ambiance and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food.
Caroline was particularly helpful in terms of ensuring all our specifics were taken care of on the night. All our interactions were thoroughly positive. Pearse checked in on certain special guests throughout the evening in a caring manner which did not go unnoticed.
We are looking forward to celebrating future events and occasions at the Station House. Its a special place.

E. M.Had an amazing night away at The Station House enjoying their overnight package with the Boyne valley tasting menu . From arrival at the front desk the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The food was amazing from the fresh homemade breads served with garlic pesto to melt in the mouth pork cheeks . It was beautiful to taste all the amazing produce locally sourced . The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects of the food and wine great attention to detail .
The rooms were delightful with such high finishes , beautiful soft robes and slippers .
The breakfast the next morning was just as good , homemade granola , full Irish breakfast, homemade breads .
Would highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return again .

Both myself and my husband stayed there for a much anticipated friends reunion. We had the most amazing meal in the restaurant which was top shelf. I had the scallops to start and then the hake. Everything cooked to perfection.
We stayed in the Signal Suite and I may add this was a rare treat for us. The detail was flawless
