Sutton golf club is the home of JB Carr, arguably Ireland's greatest ever amateur golfer. The JB Carr room is a great museum of the amatuer legend and the club can put on private meals for small groups. A great experience for any golf purist. The course is great and despite only being 9 holes it is still well worth a visit. Every hole presents a challenge and the 9th along the coastline is a stunner. Brilliant views, great greens, friendly staff and good grub. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an escape from the city...

Great atmosphere in great golf country. Testing and fun 9 holes and super club house. Joe Carr room and must for golf fans; get there early to enjoy the displays. Firm but fair greens. Breeze was up when we played so proper test.

Great 9-hole golf course, beautiful sights along the coast. Fast greens. As this is a links course, high-handicap players will lose a significant amount of golfballs though. Well worth the 25 EUR green fee.

A gem! A quirky and stunningly beautiful 9-hole links course in Sutton. Demands technical and shotmaking skill more than length. Hard linksland, strongly undulating greens. Brilliant.
