C. H.Friendly, budget hotel. Very nice, accommodating staff. Family room was pleasant and good value. Bar food was nice. Pool was very cold! Will likely return when in the area.
P. C.Our daughter's wedding reception was hosted here last Thursday. I can't say enough how good the whole team of staff were. Her date had been rearranged twice before due to the times we now live in. Not a problem for them.
Every detail was perfect. We had the best day ever!
I must mention the pool as well. Such a great way to start the next day. Thank you once again for making our time with you so special.

P. m.We had a lovely stay at the 4 Seasons. The weather was blistering hot and the hotel was very suited to seating us outdoors. We sat all day in the front seating area. When we got to our room we saw that there was no air con so we rang reception and they had a fan sent to the room immediately. We ate that evening in the restaurant. Everyone in our group were delighted with the quality of food and the level of service. After dinner, we returned outdoors where we sat and relaxed without any sense of restrictions. We will most definitely be returning.
L. W.Hotel lovely, the decor changed throughout the hotel which I loved. The Staff were helpful and ensured our " hen party" was well catered for.. Darren was patient, funny and very welcoming when delivering the cocktail demonstration.. lots of fun had !!!. Barbara was also extremely helpful and was easy to approach when we needed to asked any questions.

M.First went in and they put us in a room on the bottom floor myself my partner and my son so we compalined and they moved us to room 313 an alright sized room but no bath that was the first night but they rang us and offered us another room for the next night and it was a family room a lovely room with a seperate sitting room and bedroom and a lovely bathroom they were very accomidating to us and we will go back but to the family sized room i would not recommend the rooms on the bottom floor for a family

But due to covid i haven't been for a while so it was nice to stay there recently and i am delighted to say recent renovatios are excellent. Ann-Marie was a very professional host and breakfast was superb. Thank you. 😊
D. C.We have tryied two other gym in the city: four season and coral lesure. We can say that this is the best one, both for the price and for the optimum service. The gym has everithing that we need to train; there is also, in a differente section of the leasure, a spa, a steam room, a yacuzzi and a 18m pool. Expecially if you're a student, I thik this is one of the best places to train in city.

J. N.Great day at my nieces wedding. Main hall for wedding was cold was ok when up dancing but for anyone like myself with mobility issues. I would recommend go prepared with a warm blanket and jacket in the colder months. Leisure facilities were lovely, friendly staff on arrival. Rooms were clean though again a bit on the chilly side. We visited in Nov. Overall though a really good time was had by all. Rooms were a bit pricey compared to some other hotels I gave stayed in that were comparable. The breakfast was just fantastic.
N. B.Ideal place to stop off for lunch when travelling from Donegal to Dublin. Had lunch there today with my family. Meal was really nice , the service was quick and the staff was really very attentive, especially for us as we had a 4yr and a 1yr with us. Highly recommend it.

B. D.Nice hotel. Unfortunately we got lumbered with the room at the top of the stairs! Felt like it was a store room that was found to be unrequired so a bed toilet and shower was installed!
All the drunken traffic decide it's a good location to stop for a loud chat and a late dance. Not much sleep was had until after 2.30 am. And seemed to be just above the nightclub.
Leisure facilities are decent enough and bar food was nice. Breakfast not all that to be honest. Would probably be a higher rating with a better located room.

S.Ample parking space. Nice reception and welcoming people. Little misunderstanding with the type of room we have booked was sorted in no time. Executive room is well finished and has different colour scheme to let's say triple standard room. Bathroom clean.
Swimming pool is not cold and they have sauna, steam room and jacuzzi available together with actual cold water bucket hanging on the wall to cool you down after sauna. That's a nice touch.
Steaks we ordered (sirloin) weren't great, very chewy (medium prep) which was advised to staff when asked if everything is OK. We ate in bar area as we were watching the match on TV. It wasn't very busy but few items were forgotten, plates weren't removed on timely manner. Not sure if it's because it's 3star hotel or because staff was running from restaurant beside to bar and back. Desert was OK. We had to go and pay for our dinner after waiting for quite some time. Maybe it's because feedback re steak? Who knows.

Facilities were good although on one day there was a breastfeeding group meeting and as a result a lot of kids running around which was quite distracting and should've been better managed.
I had lunch in the bar and the food was good but 9 euro for a club sandwich is beyond reasonable.

The decor was simply elegant and showed thought was given to the customer. Staff friendly and efficient. Food very good, both breakfast and dinner provided a variety and choice. Restaurant and bar tastefully decorated and comfortable. Reception area was very relaxing opening out onto seated decking with a beautiful view. Excellent value for money. Congratulations to Owners and Staff , other hotels take note The Four Seasons shows exactly how its done!

C. M.Attended a friends wedding, everything was great. Good location, easily found and handy yo get to. Staff were friendly and polite and food was good. Had a pint of Guinness in the bar, tasted a bit flat and the rooms were in a bit of a maze but apart from that, all good!

Covid guidelines followed to a high standard... Staff both in reception and hospitality were so helpful and friendly and food was amazing as was the room... R. T.Myself and my husband Paddy got married here on August 3rd 2018. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who may be considering this venue for their wedding or even just to stay over for the night. From day one Laura, Gail & team went above and beyond to help me create my dream wedding. I live in New York so a lot of conversations were had through email due to the time zone difference. Nothing was too big or too small to ask for off these ladies. The day itself was amazing from the set up of decor/ to serving staff/ to the food. Everyone could not get over the quality of the food we were served. The residence bar kept the party going and we even had the bbq package after party the next day in the Clara suite which was amazing too :) the rooms we stayed in were clean and modern.
I cannot express my thanks enough to the four seasons team for making are reception one for us and are guests to remember.... eternally grateful mr and mrs Smith :)

C. W.Just back from a two day stay in Four Seasons Hotel. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed staying there. From the moment we went in till we came home we had lovely pleasant staff to deal with, lovely restaurant, lovely food. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The decor wasn't the most up to date but we can surpass that. We enjoyed the pool although my 14 year old daughter was v disappointed that she couldn't use the gym being under 16 years of age and already uses a gym in Dublin. All in all I would recommend and we would definitely stay again....Overall, excellent staff and excellent food would bring us back. Thank you Four Seasons Monaghan
C. C.Stopped for lunch & tea in here loads of times..have never stayed and have not been in the nightclub for 20 odd years ( thankfully!! ) :-) The service is great, food is good and great value...can be busy - but can always find a seat. A good spot for stopping off for some food - any day/time.

T. O. B.Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Club while staying in Monaghan in another hotel a couple recommended we go to the Four Seasons Hotel for a meal. So we did and had a great meal food was out of this world service was prompt and very pleasant. So good the following evening we went back and once again loved it. Price's were very good and surroundings relaxing beautiful old time style setting. So if your in Monaghan looking for a place to stay or eat give here a try you can't go wrong.
M. Q.Situated at the northern end of town beside the roundabout for either Donegal,Armagh or Dublin it's a prime location for a travellers rest or a longer stay to enjoy the scenic beauty the county has to offer.
The hotel itself has ample parking and the gentle slope leading to the four seasons grants a great view of the rolling hills behind.
The staff are both approachable and professional and the food both in the bar and function room are well above standard.
This is my third visit to the hotel and will not be my last.
B. W.Easy to find, only 15 minute walk into town (advisable unless you want to pay to park in town). Rooms are well equipped and modern. Beds are very big and comfortable - it was hard to leave it at the end of the stay! Staff are friendly and helpful

A family run establishment. A good venue for private functions weddings are a speciality and are hosted in a stand alone state of the art funtion room, exclusively reserved for the bride and groom.
Plus there's an excellent pre-drinks reception area. Good service, good food and great attention to detail makes this an outstanding Hotel with ample car parking and mature picturess gardens.ESB Electric car charging point on site.
Patricia, Barbara Geraldine and Hugh are front of house representatives in their various departments, who give this Hotel the edge and make it a cut above the competition.
S.Not the four seasons your probably used to.
A smallish hotel just at the edge of Monaghan town.The room was nice and clean and the bed was well presented with plenty of duvets and pillows. Bathroom was clean. The reception staff were not in uniform nor did the greet in the way one expects in a FS hotel. It was all very casual and very 'local'. Not a bad place, and the staff were all in all friendly but not up to the usual FS standard. Corridor on the ground floor looks like a run down holiday Inn. The Interior is drab and uninspiring and nothing like any FS anywhere in the world . However, it's the cheapest FS hotel you will ever find but the old saying rings true, you get what you pay for. In conclusion, a OK hotel in a rural location that's good for an overnight stay. Not to expensive, clean and habitable.
Don't go expecting the four seasons.

P. S.Elegant and formal hotel structure with restaurant and pub service. Guests also have at their disposal an indoor swimming pool and a large car park. Free wifi service. The property is located about one km from the center of Monaghan which can also be reached on foot with a 10-15 minute walk. Courteous and helpful service.
