5 star price, mediocre 3 star experience: advice; stay in a B&B down the road and go here for dinner and you’ll get the same (possibly better) experience for a fraction of the price. E.g: we called room service for 30min with no answer to get an ice bucket, ended up having to walk down to reception where I found a queue of 10 people at reception all looking for room service and couldn’t get an answer. No staff at reception, or to be seen anywhere? €350 for the night and we couldn’t get a glass off ice? Also they closed the bar early for no reason? Would have asked someone why but we couldn’t find any staff. Not a 5 star hotel, don’t waste your money.

Very friendly service and staff but one down fall is that they charge for a pot of tea when you order a breakfast and expensive for a breakfast 13 euros every where else is only 10 euros

Just brilliant. The whole experience was brilliant. The staff are so helpful and friendly. They made the whole experience so good. Given the circumstances with covid we weren't sure how our stay at the hotel would be, but it was really fantastic. Great hotel. Amazing staff. Food in the restaurants was great. Excellent course despite the greens were slow. Pro in shop was attentive and accommodating while being enthusiastic and bubbly. Food was decent and the staff young but bored and going thorough the motions, but what one would expect from kids on minimum wage and poor quality training. Saying that they were all pleasant and polite. I will definitely return and stay over next time.

Brilliant course, greens, fairways and grounds were very good, the bunkers were a little patchy. The practice range wasn't open before 9 on the Saturday we played so we couldn't warm up fully, but if you were playing later in the day and could warm up fully it would be a full 5 stars.

Played the course a few weeks back. It is a beauty. Nice mix of everything and kept in great condition. Some cracking holes. Bunkers were poor I must say, like stone with not enough sand in them, but the rest of the course made up for it. Really enjoyed it and will definitely play here again. Be sure to eat at the clubhouse afterwards, food was amazing.

Excellent course, facilities and staff. Course was immaculate. It’s a long course, have to be long off the tee to give yourself a chance at par or better. Plenty of water and fairway and green side bunkers, challenging but excellent .

I've played the Heritage twice now and it's one of my favourite courses around Ireland. It has everything you want from a golf course. On a nice day the course has some holes that take your breath away. Highly recommended this course to any range of golfer.

Had a fabulous spa day, with high tea. Lovely ! 2 small things, the music was a little too loud in spa and during treatments. Also, the high tea was a little sweet heavy - some cheese or pate would have been nice in place of one of the cakes.

We had fabulous afternoon tea the Saturday before Christmas. Food and service was amazing. Staff so friendly . Stayed on to watch a fabulous wedding come in. The hotel is done beautifully for Christmas and the wedding guests seemed to be having a great time. A man played lovely music on the piano. It was beautiful.

Fab hotel, but punching too much above it star rating. Had a nice stay, but for the price, I expected aposulance. Not here. Woken first morning by ride on mower at 6.30 am continued till 7.30am. Complained to staff seems to be an ongoing thing, but my complaint was not reflected in my payment or by being pampered for my lack of sleep. For our stay a wedding was going on, but 1 particularl wedding family were walking around the place in pink Knight dress and lads with tops off and shorts, this is not what I wanted to be looking at. Anyway, breakfast food is excellent and the staff were so polite and helpful. The leisure centre was nice and spotless.

We had an amazing day started out with lunch few afternoon drinks then dinner absolutely stuffed we were... Next day treatments at the SPA was WOW I had pauline who did an amazing facial on me.then we used the thermal suite. I'd say it's the biggest an beat SPA I've ever been to. I cannot fault any part of my stay. The staff, the food, the attention to detail was exquisite and I will gladly return again, we were ragin we were only there for one night to celebrate a friends 50th...
