Got a really good value package including dinner and wine. The wine was beautiful and the food amazing. Best food Ive ever had in any hotel. Breakfast also really good with fresh juices included. Spa is really good and in an amazing location. Staff very nice. Amazing period venue and location.
I would give this 5 stars except the room was absolutely roasting. They said they manually overrode the rads after I told them turning off the rads didn't work. Again this didn't seem to make any difference to the heat so had to have the window open and didn't sleep that well.
Anyway apart from that highly recommended - sort the heat out to get 5 stars :)

My husband and I have stayed here on a few occasions and it is one of our favourite hotels. The staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and the spa is lovely. We always look forward to our stays here.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very hot, be prepared.
Package included a lovely dinner.
Spa treatments were fantastic.

Stayed here for a night. Hotel is a bit jaded but staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, they made the visit.
Room was very hot and it was January. Tried to turn off the radiator but didn't seem to work. Had to sleep with the window open and didnt get much sleep as there was a wedding and music went beyond 1.00 a.m. and after a lot of noise and movement from the car park outside our window.
Food was good. Waited half an hour for our dessert to be delivered to our table after dinner and still no show, so we went to the bar!!
Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel but I wont be rushing to go back unfortunately. The best thing about the hotel are the staff.

Fantastic experience the staff and food were impeccable. We were reviewing for a potential wedding venue and it certainly hit a lot of our criteria straight away.

Spend past 3 days in Faithlegg at friends wedding. You could not thank staff enough for making our stay special. Starting with wedding organisation, through restaurants, spa, finishing at bar. No request was too much for them. Manger was a diamond and lead example for all the stuff.

Stayed at Faithlegg for a wedding party in January. The views and facilities are surpassed only by the fantastic staff. If you’ve got a question, Paul at the front desk has 3 answers. The whole team goes above and beyond.

I have been in Ireland 23 yrs and this is by far the beat Hotel I have stayed in. Attended a wedding here stayed for 2 nights. As a Head Chef or someone who works in the same industry we always seem to find faults. I worked for the Sister Hotel for a short time the Herritage as a relief Head Chef. the food was amazing 👏 my favourite part was the breakfast. had the veggie the the avocado the next day it was really good. Well done to the Chef's and to all the staff that make this Hotel such an amazing place 👏 I am already looking to visit soon.

I am a proud frontline worker working at St. Luke's, Kilkenny. I needed a break, badly. I wanted to book a reservation at this hotel (Faithlegg Hotel) on the 30th of June but, mistakenly, I booked it on the 30th of July. I arrived on the 30th of June. And although the hotel was not open yet (closed for COVID 19, I guess), that staff was super understanding. Quickly the managed to solve and correct my mistake, and the gave us an apartment, and they took 19 euros off the original price, so I ended up paying 19 euros less - can you believe that !!
They treated me and my family respectfully and with compassion to an extend that I felt right at my own place. Can't thank them enough. Really enjoyed our stay and we will come back whenever we got a chance.

I got a lunch for my girlfriend birthday and I could get a spot at the bar.
Food was really good and tasty, chef was doing a great job.
Place is great, warm and glamorous.
I didn't give 5star because the booking made by email wasn't much professional.
(Used Wrong name, partial information)
Thanks God someone double check availability on that day and let me in.
When I arrived with 15min delay, I could choose where to seat with not much troubles...
But no one is perfect anyway.
I wouldn't book by email anymore.

A beautiful hotel and the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, beautiful pool and I would highly recommend a stay here

What an amazing place almost 240 years old full with history, My wife Michelle and I had high Tea and it was amazing, such a beautiful place , its a must see and visits.
A. B.
Enjoyed a wonderful couple of days here for a wedding. The place itself is nice but what really makes it is the staff, they're so attentive and friendly and really make an effort with the guests. It was our first trip away with our little girl and they were so accommodating with us. Thank you 😊 especially to the lovely Italian waiter who looked after us at Breakfast, sorry we didn't get his name.
P. M.
Had a lovely lunch there is olde world surroundings. We were greeted on arrival and all the staff were very welcoming.
D. C.
Beautiful surroundings both inside and out.
Staff even provided us with an extra blanket for our baby when we were eating outdoors! 😁

Great hotel , great rooms, great food , relaxing , will go again

Excellent location..
Delicious food.. Ranjith's Madras Curry..wow!!
Staffs are so cooperative and helpful
B. K.
Lovely statley house comfortable and relaxing with a good jacuzzi sauna steam room, food was excellent.
r. e.
The room is beautiful and highly refurbished with high grade mattress, pillows and luxurious bedding, room service is excellent and food is excellent, the staff are highly trained. I had the best time during my stay for my cousin wedding in the same hotel. The wedding was beautifully done in all, the ceremony, the party dinner, photos and the setting. Thank you so much for a great wedding and a wonderful time
N. M.
Food was excellent, staff lovely and friendly. Will definitely be back
F. V.
The location is really nice. The Food is excellent and the personnel is super kind. In particular there was a Italian waiter that guided us through the menu and suggested us the most suitable wine for our dishes. He's prepared, gentle and professional. Probably the best there.
Spa is clean, great treatments.
One thing that could be better managed: we have been given a ground floor suite that was facing the car park. Nice room, but there should be a bush or some plants or a fence to give more privacy to the room as it's really exposed to the path that brings to the cars and to the car park itself.
Anyway, great place. Highly recommend it.

Just had a lovely overnight trip to Faithlegg and the staff were so helpful, even though it was busy there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere..I had a deep tissue massage and Annie looked after me, she was exceptional. Overall, it was a lovely relaxing stay, thank you to all the staff in these difficult times..
D. R.
This is an exceptional hotel to visit. Far enough in the country and close enough to the city. Staff and services are excellent.
M. O. B.
This is a great place for food, cleanliness. Staff are very helpful and mannerly. Picturesque setting with fantastic golf course. Lacked atmosphere but that can most likely be put down to the impact of Covid 19. Still much to offer for a quiet few days.
R. B.
Rooms are nice. Food in restaurant was great, bar food menu could be more exciting. Spa treatments were really good but the pool is too public so not a relaxing space. There could be better use of the public areas. Only busy bar to sit in. A quiet reading room or something would fit the atmosphere.
A. K.
A lovely location with a great golf course (albeit a bit pricey). Let's itself down with some terrible management. Be warned if you ring for a reservation, the lady who we dealt with a few times didn't particularly enjoy having to answer the phone, the less said the better!
M. L.
Brilliant place. Great food, beautiful rooms, comfy beds and very professional and very friendly staff.
A. M.
Had an amazing stay here, the staff are some of the finest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Could not do enough for us on our trip.
A. “. F. M.
Had afternoon tea with family. One gluten free in the family and was extremely well catered for. Staff were very nice and mindful of Cornavirus etiquette. I would advise you not to eat breakfast, and maybe just a small meal the night before. Food standard was fantastic.
I would recommend that a few more sign posts be put around the surrounding areas. We went round in circles a few times even though we had been in the hotel before, sat nav and Google maps were sending us to different directions.
R. M.
This is a beautiful location for either formal or relaxed events. Outdoor weddings are set in mature gardens. Varied room ambience inside suitable for winter fireside atmosphere or summer sun room/ barbecue semi outdoors style events. All round great food with excellent service.
J. F.
Very pleasant stay.
E. D.
Beautiful hotel and lovely staff, food is excellent . I would highly recommend.
A. D.
what a setting beautiful house excellent food and a lovey well maintained garden. Staff were verry friendly and helpful..bit on the pricey side but thats too be expected with a hotel like faithlegg we were upgraded 2 the bridal sweet on arrival and it was outstanding..grate location 5 stars in my opinion..😀
K. L.
This place is so beautiful we decided to get married here! The grounds are stunning and the house even more so. It was like a fairytale, almost 5 years ago now so hoping to get back there for our anniversary in August. The staff were amazingly friendly and everything about this place was inviting. We spent 4 nights here and had the most beautiful suite which overlooked the back garden. Truly a magical part of the world.
P. C.
Beautiful golf course and hotel friendly staff good food and drink. Great place to visit.
w. c.
Service was exceptional. From the staff in the dining and the spa centre. Awful pity about the golf course being closed due to been water logged. But in saying that will definitely go again for a weekend stay.
D. S.
Faithlegg is a hotel that takes Covid seriously without compromising on service. We were made to feel very welcome and safe. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Very enjoyable stay and we will be returning.
S. B.
I don't know how this isn't a 5 star hotel. I have been to my fair share of 3 and 4 star hotels in Ireland and this trumps the lot so far. The detail, the staff, the setting, the leisure centre and OMG the food is just exquisite. I hope my photos do it justice.
B. O. K.
Have been to weddings and christenings and other events here. Have had spa treatments and relaxed in thermal suite, also stayed one night (family wedding). Have always enjoyed every event. Food is very good, afternoon tea is nice and Spa treatments are excellent. Staff are always a pleasure.
F. F.
Great place for a few days staycation. Fantastic staff, super efficient and sensitive to all needs in these strange Covid days.
C. T.
Lovely hotel nice facilities. Staff very good. Disappointed with evening meal. Was only ok. Flavours were not up to 4* standard. Fish was frozen not fresh.Breakfast was good though.. Room was good . Bed very comfortable. But hotel was very isolated away from town. Very quiet midweek. Only give it 3 stars because of disappointment with evening meal ( which wad a selling point when making purchase).
E. C.
We stayed for a weekend and the dinner menu was identical both nights, which was very disappointing. People often spend 2 nights away and I think that the hotel should be very aware of this and change the dinner menu daily.
The staff were very nice.
The reception area smelled of smoke I think because of some wedding guests who didn't want to get wet.
It is a lovely spot nonetheless and I wouldn't be opposed to going back
I. K.
Beautiful country estate, with terrific golf course. Hotel rooms spotless, and very comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant, food first class, very enjoyable meal. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, very helpful, friendly and can’t do enough for you. Very COVID complient during these strange times. Will definitely stay there again.
L. F.
It,s a superb hotel and golf resort, set in idyllic landscaped grounds.Used to be a religious monastery and teacher training college. Beautiful ambience. Accommodation in main hotel and in self-catering golf lodges.
M. R.
Lovely location, nice room, great food, excellent friendly staff. No one to help with bags on arrival or departure. Very golf orientation. Lack of parkland walking for non golf guests.Could do more to give guests best way directions from outside County.
M. F.
The food was delicious. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Its in a wonderful location, and has nice walks and lovely gardens. We didnt stay there ,just had lunch.
A. M. B.
Beautiful hotel with surrounding grounds to match. Reception staff very helpful. Barstaff on our first night were quite rude & abrupt showing their stress of having to deal with a large party coming in for dinner .Room was lovely but no air conditioning & a bedside light not working. Not enough towels left in the room for 3 people. DId ask for more but they were not left in room. Helped myself to towels off the trolley in the corridor as we needed them for showers after swimming. Our food was excellent in the bar & restaurant but service is extremely slow. Breakfast great but offered no toast on the first morning . Swimming pool great but the changing rooms need to be updated for a four star hotel & have keys for the lockers that can be worn around your wrist when swimming. Had to leave locker open. Jacuzzi great. Playground for children great. Beautiful golf course ..plenty of parking. Would stay at the hotel again.
A. M.
While not a Grand House Faithlegg is a hotel whose staff have done a great job of enabling warmth & comfort yet managing a reasonably strict regime for Covid protection - no easy endeavour. The food is very good & overall pricing pitched very well indeed for a 4 + star hotel & amenities. We admit to being somewhat disappointed in the afternoon tea as it lacked the class one associates with such an activity.
Its a golf hotel but since we're NOT golfers we can't comment on it except to note that the Golf Club most certainly DID NOT appear to encourage social distancing at all.
We had excellent servers & a maitre'd for dinner - but it was Jovan who stole our hearts at breakfast. This suave Italian maitre'd is going to break all the ladies hearts (certainly impacted on my two adult daughters & their mum!) & so lifted our hearts as to bring our stay to a wonderful close. Thank you Jovan & Management!
S. R.
I had the best meal I’ve ever had in my life at this hotel. Venison with braised cabbage! It was so good! The accommodations were very nice, the staff was very friendly. The only downside to this hotel is the crows outside on the premises. The squawking didn’t stop from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. It made it difficult to sleep as we could hear them from our room... otherwise this place is great!
D. S.
Went for a treat for a friend's birthday. Was just so elegant and lovely parlour to have afternoon tea. They catered to all dietary requirements which was so wonderful because it can be so difficult with large groups. Thank you for making it a lovely afternoon!
R. M. Q.
Stayed at the hotel last night, staff are so friendly. Had a fabulous dinner last night, great breakfast this morning. would definitely recommend going to the treatment suites. Had a pre natal massage this morning, it was amazing. Michaela was fantastic. I'd highly recommend her to other pregnant women she really made sure I was comfortable. Great experience overall.
K. M.
Excellent food, very friendly professional staff especially in the spa;masseur was top class, pool and amenities were spotless, thoroughly enjoyable 🤗
m. m.
We got a deal online which made our stay good value. Really liked the jacuzzi, steam room, friendly staff. The food was good overall. The wine list was poor in terms of price and quality. The room was underwhelming but comfortable.
A. B.
Popped in to see friends staying. Wonderful location and staff very attentive and helpful.
E. G.
Wonderful place to stay. Hotel is in great location with wonderful grounds. Reception and bar has a nice old estate feel while restaurant and rooms are modern have everything you need. Food is amazing in both bar and restaurant! Staff are very friendly and professional.
d. p.
Really good value high class staycation for our Waterford cycling holiday. The staff couldn't have been better even putting a fridge in the room to store local sausages I had bought.
Breakfast in our room was really tasty.
Faithlegg is right beside a magic bike ride down to passage east, Tramore and back
m. c.
Beautiful place only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.
J. C.
Lovely house and hotel! Breakfasts are a must. Live music in the lounge was fantastic. Really well set out grounds a very high standard 4 star hotel. Take a car if wanting to head to Waterford as is a why out of town bit very quiet and peaceful. Good hotel for the golfer!
M. G.
Enjoyed our stay although rooms are a bit tired and need updating. Bathroom had smallest bath id ever seen!!!
The meal in restaurant that evening was amazing an would definitely return for the food alone. Breakfast also brilliant and staff very helpful.
A. C.
The nicest hotel I've stayed in in Ireland for quite a while. Great attention to detail. Staff are fantastic. Lovely pool. Food was delicious.
C. O.
Beautiful food in the clubhouse bar , great service and very friendly staff.
C. M.
A fantastic place to stay I'm having a wonderful time food is amazing
E. D.
Lovely hotel in wonderful grounds (golf and great walks. Very well organised for covid 19 room very comfortable. Dinner very very good in main dining room - great food and relaxing atmosphere. Staff everywhere excellent.
Also visited The Beach House in Tramore for lunch - great fish restaurant
T. D.
This hotel was elegant and comfortable. The room was very nice. However, the entire evening and morning the sounds of crows squawking never ceased. From the moment we arrived on the hotel grounds until we left, the crows never stopped. It did not allow us to sleep well at all. Aside from that, the hotel is fabulous. Hopefully they can do something about the plethora of crows surrounding the entire grounds.
L. M.
Just a beautiful big, big house that has unbelievable gardens, little sitting rooms for a drink or afternoon tea. Attended a wedding there that I couldn't fault in any way. It was beautiful and intimate for the couple, a setting that is so made for an outside ceremony (which I attended). Just the biz!
P. M.
Stayed in the lodges which are clean and well maintained. Highlight of the trip was a visit to the spa, well worth the splurge. Ate at the Aylward Bar - food was pricey, delicious and well presented but the service was horrendously slow - I think an ongoing wedding had them pre-occupied. This led to us venturing outside the resort for restaurants and there are plenty of very good options nearby. There's a small playground suitable for 2-5 year olds, the leisure centre is good and the staff couldn't be friendlier. Same goes for the hotel as a whole, staff are very nice.
M. H.
Nice place. Nice staff. BUT they really need to give the bar / restaurant staff some basic training. They leave dirty dishes on the table just walk past not clearing anything. Breakfast was ok BUT again you had to ask a couple of times get things.
E. L.
If it's golf you are after go to the Faithlegg, the hotel is ok but I would recommend that you go for a suite . The extra few Bob buys you more space and comfort. The golf course is excellent, not too tough. Very enjoyable.
a. g.
It was very nice to be in Faithlegg House Hotel & to enjoy having dinner with my wife and family at the splendid dining room - the food & the atmosphere were unforgettable & of the highest quality! Also may I say the staff were both efficient & extremely courteous. We also had a wonderful & helpful conversation with Eddie the House Manager regarding places of interest in the countryside adjacent to the Hotel.
S. M. (.
Beautiful grounds and lovely hotel. Great staff but bar food is expensive but very tasty. We stayed in one of the houses on the grounds and it was very rundown and cold. They all need general upkeep and maintenance.
Golf club house does not have a lift so not family friendly
L. D.
Lovely rural retreat. Wonderful food and service especially breakfast which was freshly cooked and served at our table. Very comfortable rooms and an excellent leisure centre to relax and unwind
S. M.
I could not fault this hotel, it's right up there from the staff to the food and lovely atmosphere despite social distancing. We had a great night.
R. M. M.
Lovely hotel, enjoyed it
M. D.
We stayed at the Hotel for a family wedding and all I can truly say is thank you. The Hotel is stunning with great history and located in the countryside 10 minutes from Waterford town. It has a golf course spa with pool and fantastic facilities. As a large family we stayed in the hotels chalets/ holiday homes located beside the Hotel and they were fantastic.
I found the staff warm courteous and very accommodating. To stay in Faithlegg is a real treat and it is definitely worth a visit.
E. P.
Love seeing the continuing improvements to Faithlegg house hotel. Wonderfully scenic location. Excellent bar food and very accommodating staff. Have personally found it to be very child friendly which cannot be said of a lot of hotels of this genre.
S. F.
Portions of the food are a little on the small side for their price. Rooms/beds are very comfortable. Staff can be a little ignorant but mainly good. Plus, they charged me €3 for a glass of water!!! But if your around Waterford, you should pop in for a night or two, even though being charged for absolutely everything I would recommend a stay. 👍
J. W.
I was here to purpose to my girlfriend of 12 years and I cannot recommend this hotel more! The staff have gone above and beyond to make this a memorable experience. The waiter Haydon at dinner was great and the chefs (Derek and Noel) really made it personal for us. As did the Managment.
The bedroom was truly magical, it had a delightful charm that must only be seen to be believed. The views are lovely and even better at sunset.
There are plenty of parking spots and sadly did not get to enjoy any leasure spas or golf but from the sounds of it they don't need my praise as they are already fantastic.
All in all this hotel has made out stay the most memorable stay and we will defiantly come back to stay again and will recommend it to everyone.
Thank you to all of the staff and crew.
L. C.
Stunning location, staff were friendly and accommodating.Food was delicious and prices were reasonable.Highly recommend a visit.
A. M.
The grounds are very nice as is the hotel but my rating refers to the bar food. We were seated in the bar near the coffee making area and the noise from the coffee machine and the bar was bad. The chowder was very good as was the brown bread. The Thai Red Curry left a lot to be desired at over €17. It was heavy on sauce and not a spicey one at that.It had 5 small pieces of chicken in it and a miniscule rice portion. Extra rice was given on request. The fish of the day with chips was good.
M. M.
Wonderful customer service 👏
Good old fashioned hospitality ,polite service and attention to detail 100%👍
It was a special occasion +front of house staff +superb kitchen made it an amazing experience 100%⚘🥂😷👍
We will be back asap 👍
Thank you Guy's so much for making a sad situation into a very memorable occasion 🥂⚘🥂👏
So well done
R. H.
LOVED IT - Nostalgic atmosphere and grounds area a bonus. Dinner was outstanding and will play golf next time we visit. Loved the authentic rooms and vibe of the staff towards making the experience real.

Faithlegg house is quiet an impressive location, its setting on an old estate gives one the impression of exclusiveness form their website. But on arrival ,the entrance with its boom time golf resort housing and the very industrial view of Waterford docks somewhat dulls your impression immediately. Traveling down the drive, the hotel comes into view and helps restore your view. Its a wonderful example of a landlords pierod house, you then see the modern extension which is most of the hotel rooms. And then the carparks. On arrival at reception there was a very pleasant welcome and staff were very informative and helpful. We stayed in the classic rooms, not the four poster bed type room. The rooms were clean, t.v. had a lot of good channels. The toilet cistern was constantly flowing water down the toilet but couldnt be heard with the door closed. It was a regular hotel room, nothing special but adequate. The supplies of tea, coffee and sugar was limited. During our stay we had evening dinner in the restaurant we were seated along the wall and the main thorough fair to the kitchen, it was very busy with waiters coming and going. The menu was nice and the food was very tasty and beautifully presented, there were surcharges for some dishes which looked a bit cheep for such an exclusive restaurant. Although the food was good and tasty there wasn't a lot of it, and for the hungrier guest it might not fulfill your appitite. Again the staff were extremely nice and very efficient and made the stay very pleasant. We received this break as a present, with evening meal included, I had to pay an extra €8 on departure for having the beef for dinner, left a bad taste in my mouth I have to say. Overall I have given this three stars, which I think is fair, I'd give the staff five though.
T. G.
Very sterile. Lacks atmosphere. Staff very robotic. Food good but expensive. Drink measures very tight.
S. K.
This a five star luxury hotel just few kilometers from Waterford City.
It hosts a beautiful garden and surroundings. Ideal for its golf courts.
I attended a wedding there, lovely setting and food.
S. Q.
Brother had his wedding here! It was amazing! Staff great! Rooms very clean, late bar, bbq next day in the sun, it was amazing!
M. &. J. F.
We stayed in Faithlegg for 3 nights last week along with 4 other friends and we all thought it was perfect and most enjoyable. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast and dinner menus were delicious and very tasty, lastly all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Full marks to Faithlegg, we'll be back.
S. O.
We recently booked Faithlegg for a party of 18 confirmation celebration. Although the hotel was busy with other partys and a wedding both service and food were impeccable. Attention to detail (a personalised menu and a present of a book voucher for our daughter) was impressive and made the day extra special. Thank you Faithlegg, we will return!
C. O.
Great hotel with fantastic staff. Excellent bar food. Shame that every service vehicle cash in transit van golf buggy etc is allowed park at the main front entrance
L. C.
Lovely food and atmosphere at Faithlegg Hotel in Waterford. Difficult to set Google maps directions, best to search for the Golf club and the correct directions come up.
Lovely rooms and amazing views. Perfect for golfers but also a great place to stay if you’re looking for a nice weekend break.
C. M.
The room was not up to the standard of a 4 star.....on the other hand the food was 6 star.... breakfast was just delicious fantastic....empty tissue box and close to empty toilet roll!!! Unfortunately there was also noise from work men during day time....i was there to relax!!!
A. S.
Nice hotel, restaurant was good. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was especially excellent, far superior to the standard boring buffet hotel breakfast you get everywhere else.
M. M.
Had a wonderful experience in the day spa. My husband and I had a massage each and it was the best massage I've ever had. All the girls were lovely. Thank you very much
m. l.
Pleasant room Friendly helpful staff. Great bar food and excellent breakfast. Making a difficult final putt on the 18th hole of last match in the Pierce Purcell shield nailed a place in the area final for the West Waterford Golf Club made the weekend special. Great Golf Course.
J. F.
Fantastic accommodation with great views and golf facilities, rooms are great in size and well kept would have got all five stars but for some staff issues ie in the bar
and at breakfast being a bit slow.
.But otherwise great.
T. G.
Absaloutley loved this Hotel, staff were very helpful and food was very good, room was comfortable, one night wasn't enough, I will definitely return again
J. O.
Attending a wedding. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Food was really nice. Only complaint was the service was terrible. Very slow!!! Can't blame the staff as the were all very young. Obviously no proper training...
k. r.
Very nice, clean and well manicured.
Ordered the fish and chips, it was very good.
S. P.
Amazing from start to finish, customer service at it's best! Eoin, Sean and Marcin in the bar were excellent.
S. L.
A lovely quiet hotel. Beds comfortable, room clean and food was ok. They did try to make vegan food but it was a bit hit and miss with some dishes being okay and some just awful.
M. H.
Great staff great history great food if eat early, took in some golf and swimming plus cycling. What more could you want for holidays. To top it all they have a Faithlegg Icehouse Lager especially brewed in Waterford not available anywhere else. How about that. Families love it too.On my honour, and not far from Waterford.
M. F.
A great getaway in a stunning setting. Fantastic restaurant (phenomenal breakfast), comfortable beds, an excellent spa, and loads of local amenities. Make sure to check out the falconry!
D. F.
5 star dining, wonderful staff and impeccably clean and comfortable.
L. M.
The perfect wedding venue, Suzie was an absolute pleasure to deal with and helped us so much. Thank you to everyone who helped us have the perfect day.
E. K. C. R.
Beautiful location, stunning views- staff very friendly and very professional. Service was very good and the quality of food was amazing. Booked this venue for my wedding in 2019
D. C.
Excellent room, service, food and location. I'll be back!
S. H.
Beautiful hotel with great facilities. As it is set in mature wooded area crows are a bit of a nuisance (noise and fouling in the car park) but other than that a fabulous experience. Highly recommend it
n. m.
Just visited for a coffee, lovely welcoming place and friendly staff
G. O.
Really nice hotel with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Only stayed the one night but looking forward to another visit.Food very nice.
B. D.
Nice rooms and staff were pleasant but restaurant and bar areas were grubby! While staff were pleasant training is required especially floor staff in bar area! Hence only 3stars!
M. S.
Forgot to post a review but wow what a stay. Stayed for a wedding even tho I live right across the river. Amazing service, staff were exceptional.
T. B.
Room is very comfortable but some others need updating. Food excellent and staff very attentive and helpful. Very nice view from bedroom and this is a return visit this year.

Faithlegg Hotel and golf course is brilliant.
C. M.
The food and service here is always spectacular.
M. O.
Lovely place. Breakfast was A1. Rooms comfortable but small. Grounds are beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommend a visit and stay.
E. S.
Any hotel is only as good as it's staff and the staff at Faithlegg are amongst the best I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Friendly and incredibly helpful at all times they made our stay in the fabulous hotel all the more relaxing and enjoyable. Special mention to the guys behind the residents bar. Highly recommended.
G. M.
Lovely hotel & a great place for a wedding
m. m.
loved my stay, room was lovely great big four poster bed, best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel, food was excellent & service ,breakfast was tasty, definitely will stay there again
S. N.
Bit overpriced. Great staff and food is grand. Beds are comfy. Stay here quite a bit as my partner loves it.
S. H.
Great food ,very well organised for covid, great walks in the grounds
M. B.
Beautiful house and grounds. Golf course magnificent. Food and service 1st class and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning.
C. D.
Faithlegg is a nicely located hotel and only a few minutes drive from Waterford City. Although the grounds are quite nice, the hotel rooms themselves I found to be a little underwhelming and outdated, as is the leisure centre. However, the bar area with the big open fire is really nice. The food was pretty good, not amazing though. Overall, I would describe it as being decent value for money but I probably won't return.

Top class .... great golf course fabulous hotel beautiful countryside setting. Loved the service which somewhat compensated for a poor signature sandwich...
M. W.

Absolutely exquisite hotel!! Excellent staff and in a very scenic part of the country. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
F. B.
Was at my sister's wedding it was very professional and things were very well organised from the start the venue is really posh I felt like a needle in a pin cushion eg out of my comfort zone but my sis and her now hubby enjoyed themselves and that's what mattered the building itself is very good and I'd say you need a big pocket to be able too afford it
R. W.
Great hotel, Great golf course
M. L.
We had a wonderful experience Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Beautiful spa treatments Highly recommended
L. L.
Nice and peaceful... nice staff... lovely location....BUT.... make sure ur not in any hurry to eat... a bit slow or maybe a bit understaffed...AND.... make sure not to be starving...portions on all levels are very small.
K. T.
Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
D. M.
Such a great staff! The food was delicious, the room was comfortable, and the spa was accommodating . I'd stay here again.
F. K.
A lovely olde worlde hotel on a fabulous golf course, with a sunny well furnished garden, several dining options, friendly staff and a good covid regime. Given the absence of entertainments locally because of venue closures, it's a pity the hotel didn't provide even a single singer/guirarist for a couple of hours each night in the lounge or perhaps the garden room which was more spacious. It would have made a big difference.
L. F.
Lovely place with very nice food. Wait staff could be a bit more pleasant but over all Fab place to spend the weekend.
K. B.
Nice rooms, bar and restaurant with great staff and a beautiful setting. Spa has seen better days though and could do with a makeover.
P. B.

The bar was closed but a beautiful drawing room used instead whilst bar being renovated. Excellent bar menu, lovely bottle of bubbly. Dinner on both nights . Fine dining. Amazing team as always. Superb culinary delights. Never fails. Looking forward to returning again with my husband as we had celebrated his birthday November 2018 there Master Suite room in the main house.
This visit 14th to 16th January 2020 with my Mum again in a magnificent appointed bedroom master room over looking the gardens. Beautiful sunsets with colour over the river and mountains. Well done as always.
