Never really went to Eddie Rockets to often over the years. But been here twice over the last month and it's really really nice food. Sometimes you hear people says it's a little pricey. For the quality of food I totally disagree. Worth every penny and more. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite burger diners! Love their burgers and fries and their special "Eddie Rockets" sauce. Their food has a diner like feel but the food has somewhat a freshness. But was so disappointed to see the “Reese's peanut butter milkshake" is removed from the menu. I did however get a Ferrero Rocher milkshake and it was really nice! 😍 Can be an expensive enough meal by the time you get a burger, fries and drink. But can still easily recommend 👌

Popular place! Really like the diner setting. Good menu with veggie choices. Kids had something off the kids menu, as we were looking for something light (my kids are 12 and 13 and eat a lot) so we were thinking there wouldn't be much but it was a right plate full. So good value for money. Fast service. Great milkshakes! Would definitely recommend this.

We ordered a sandwich, burger and fries for takeaway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food itself was prompt and very well presented. It tasted fresh, very well made and the portion size was perfect. The packaging was neat and sturdy. I would recommend to others and order from again!

It is what it says on the tin, a fine diner. Always consistently good. The Staff in the Athlone branch are really friendly all while keeping the service efficient. We go there with the kids about once a month and as of yet have never had a bad experience.

Really nice place staff were very pleasant and friendly, sat us in a nice boot beside the window, and then arrived back with crayons and paper for my little girl. Restaraunt was spotless clean. Nice menu with a good selection and reasonably priced, daily specials are available so you don't have to break the bank to habe a really tasty lunch or catch up with friends. This was my first visit to this particular Eddie Rockets and It was great.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If your looking for great food with an old style American feel this is the place to be. If I'm ever looking for somewhere to eat and Eddie rockets is near by I know I'm going to get the best and would recommend it to anyone.

The food is delicious but it's pretty expensive. The milkshakes are really worth buying as you get about 3 refills in the cups they give you. But 8.65 for a hotdog is a bit too much would be nice if the prices were a bit cheaper that's why I'm giving 3 stars. One burger and one hotdog with ferrero milkshake came out to 22 euro about.

Arrived at 925pm with my boyfriend, we ordered 1 starter to share, it was just ok under cookek, garlic mushrooms,. Then we ordered our burgers to find out when paying there was extra on the bill...the lady who served us was rude and seemed to be in a hurry to go home, however the lovely waitress who took over a young blond girl couldn't do enough and looked after us with no fuss,. More detail to training and the elderly lady that first served us could smile an odd time

One of the few reliables in a world where even the big franchises are fiddling with their menus. Same diner layout, chrome and red leather, mini-jukeboxes that work at your table, same candy Stripe staff uniforms and same great drive-in menu, burgers, fries and shakes heavily featured. I first at at ERs in the 90s in Dublin and eating here was like double nostalgia😎

Loved the Eddie Rockets in Killarney so decided to give the one in Athlone a try. The staff wasn't quite as friendly as the one in Killarney & seemed quite put out when I asked if I could change something (the one in Killarney was absolutely fine with the change). My husband loved his burger, mine was just okay (really overcooked). I'll give them a try again though.

American-style dinner, open until late at night. Very friendly staff, who explain the menu terms when you arrive, while speaking slowly so that you can understand despite the Irish accent. They will bring your order to the table if you are waiting or if you cannot carry the tray. 100% Irish meat and milk, selection of burgers, milkshake, hotdog, fries with dressing, everything delicious!

Irish fast food chain in a 1950s or 1960s American restaurant layout. The food is good enough for a chain restaurant. We didn't wait long either to be seated or for the food to arrive. They have good deals if you go during the week. The people who served us were very nice.
